I really love watching these amateur budget setup vids, they remind me of many years ago when I build my very first simple setup just like this one here!
Being on a tight budget made me think hard to tinker with the setup so it could look nice, thanks!
This is actually very cool and easy setup I like it. I prefer this over those other rgb lightnings all around and all that shit with lights everywhere that don't make you better in competitive games
Very clean. I used to have a laptop setup but now my gaming rig is a 5800x and a 3080 but i contemplate getting another gaming laptop because sometimes i like to just chill in bed and browse

The legion 5 is one of the laptop I really want to buy, Im a real fan of jbl, your custome keyboard really fit with what i like the screen is waw
i just dont really like the mouse :/ I prefer lighter mouse like the glorious model o
But yeah, really like the minimalist disigne, maybe add a Microphone + arm ?

your setup looks rlly good but when u use a mouse bungee, try to make the cable so it's in the air bcus when its laying on the mausepad (like in the video), the mouse bungee is useless. still love the setup!

It got many holes at the bottom plate, and theres no temp diff when i put it on the stand or on any table
asus flow x16 or z13 for more minimalism, cuz it can hide the keyboard

With external monitor it rise the temp around 2 or 3 C° on idle. For the position its around 2 or 3 C° cooler then straight on the table bcs the airflow is not restricted by the table surface

i use HDMI but could only reach 144hz not 165hz as the monitor provide
for me i have the legion 5 aswell and got a 240hz monitor but because I cant use displayport I need to use HDMI. and HDMI makes my monitor stutter sometimes
laptop is supposed to be placed horizontally, it may not be an immediate problem but your fans will deteriorate faster if placed vertically, they need to do more work blowing air out like that and its not a cheap laptop

"fans will detorriate faster if placed vertically". no its not. have you ever open a laptop before? the fan have a bracket case, it wont lean to the bracket case bcs the weight is hold by the shaft.
"need more work if placed vertically" well technically yes but just at the start, fan have the gyroscope law while spinning vertically and the wheel momentum is working holding the mass . the fan center gravity is in the middle, any angle is fine as long noting interfere the vent hole

Bawaan laptop gangaruh om sama refresh rate external monitor, kalo komponennya kuat maupun monitor laptopnya 60hz juga tetep bisa pake 240hz

didnt face that kind of problem, the only difference is 2 Celcius temp on idle when using the monitor

imo the screen is pretty nice, i didnt do designing so cant speak about the color accuration. but for for the time i bought it till now didnt feel any significant IPS glow

It have good airflow, the laptop stand have many holes on the plate. I got around 41° c on idle and around 79° c when playing games
@@dovy6666 oh still its nice, I have the North Bayou FP-2 laptop stand, and place it like 30°~45° but my temps peaks at 90° that's why I avoided that orientation and I just place the mount flat then add my older laptop stand just for the holes beneath to have a better airflow, and after that my idle temps is around 37° and max at 62°
