What is onion weed ? Or you just making stuff up ?

Onion weed isn't a real name for the weed, it's just a name commonly used by carp anglers. The weed is commonly known as Chara or Muskweed, it has a very distinctive smell similar to onions or garlic, hence the name anglers give it. Hope that helps, Steve!
