With a name like Rising Appalachia I was expecting a more traditional bluegrass (which i love) kinda vibe, but I've watched and more importantly listened to a handful of your videos and I must say this old druid finds your work quite soothing... thank you!

Watching one of these videos is like watching one cat video. TH-cam fills my feed with these Rising Appalachian videos whether I want it or not because I just watched one. I can't put my finger on it why I don't like them but I don't like them. If you describe it to me it sounds pretty good in theory but it's.... just okay. It's not amazing or great. Like female version of Shakey Graves? If I saw it in a local coffeeshop it would be normal background music for a local coffeeshop somewhere. Sorry. Prefer Sierra Ferrell's vibe to this vibe. They would be really, really good at leading worship in a hipster church.
