Ah, the classic way to die at a boss encounter. Put up a ward of dawn, peak in and out for Weapons of Light, and then fire when you're technically still in the Ward.
It's happened to everyone at least once in D1 when raiding.

NGL I was not impressed by the 2,5 noscopes at the start but when he used the BXR-55 and it reloaded I came just as much as each time I hear it's reload in Destiny 2. That sound is the perfect eargasm for me. Idk why tho, scientists are still researching the cause.

That wasn't even a melee attack in the clip, that was just a spawning animation. The engine considers Phalanx shields as solid objects, so whenever you get pressed into something by it and cannot be moved out of the shield's space, the game assumes you have been crushed to death by two walls and kills you. A similar example would be the pushers in Expunge missions - if you make contact with both the pusher and a surface opposite, the game will kill you if the pusher can no longer push you but still has distance to travel. With more realistic physics the shield would obviously stop pressing into us before it kills us, but D2's physics are understandably not advanced enough for the shield to calculate resistance, so it effortlessly crushes us to death. It even kill-credits Misadventure because you are never actually dealt lethal damage by the enemy unit.

Bungie could do with helping new players pick up Arbalest. The quest for it was vaulted and it isn't available in the kiosk. It's now an RNG open world drop only. A lot new players may never get it.

I only played D1, never really got into D2, one thing I remember, it is impossible to use sleeper with a bubble without someone in the fireteam committing laser assisted suicide

It's honestly kind of impressive that you managed to kill yourself so perfectly with sleeper on the edge of the bubble. That shot somehow ricochet off of the bubble to kill you BUT also split off into the other beams as if it was outside of the bubble? I have no idea how that happened but it's definitely not how light works. The only thing that would make sense to me is that you somehow bounced it off the bubble back into yourself for the kill which then made the bubble disappear and the ricochet to then go off your body back out of the "bubble" that is no longer there. The problem is it all happened so fast that I'd think that shouldn't be possible.
