- Hi everyone! I am so thrilled to be finally sharing my 31 new leopard gecko enclosures. Due to Shireen's unfortunate passing, you'll only be seeing 30 enclosures, but there are a total of 31. Upgrading the geckos has truly been a labor of love that has taken nearly a whole year starting in January with drawing up plans and contacting companies all the way to September when I picked them up and started to set them up. And now in October, I get to see the outcome of my efforts, and so do you. I hope you guys appreciate the time, effort, and resources that went into the enclosures, and I hope you guys love how they turned out! As always, I am open to comments, questions, and any concerns, just please keep in mind that this is just a sneak peek and that the more in-depth videos are coming soon!

The amount of time, energy, and love that you give to your animals is extremely commendable. thank you for teaching me so much about them. I strive to get to that level of enclosure for my gecko bookshelf :)

PS: I discovered you through the Enclosure Build Off and gave you a tip on how to do backgrounds earlier. I really like that you give your geckos so much space and modify them according to their individual needs. I especially like that you don't keep them communal! This is exactly the trend I would like to see from English speaking pettube. More space, more natural setups, every need met! I really like it!
Thank you so much!! And wait til you see their next upgrades coming later this year! The special needs geckos will stay in their current enclosures BUT everyone else is getting upgraded AGAIN! I’m talking backgrounds UVB bioactive soil DHP for heat. Very excited. Going to be a lot of work but I’m stoked.

Hello Jessica 🤗💖, sweetie I'm so sorry that your little one moved to Heaven. I know how much it hurts. Remember the part of your heart that is missing and hurting is that part she took with her. That way she isn't missing you. She will give it back when you join her there. Then the eternity of joy begins.

i love how so many got the 36x18x12! my leopard gecko got a 36x18x18 upgrade from a 20g and the change has been so positive. I am planning some changes to his enclosure's decoration so i got some ideas from this video.
Yeah in the future when I have more space I would like to move some of the geckos in 24x18x12 enclosures to the larger ones too!
@@JessicasAnimalFriends finding the space to upgrade is so hard. my pacman frog is a very very active boy and i want to give him a 36x18x18 but for now i'm upgrading him to a 24x18x18
In my counrty the minimum size for leopard geckos is at least 72 x 72 x 24 Anything below that is punished with fines and even imprisonment

Oh, a dolphin is a big black and yellow sea lizard that only eats wallnuts.

I love the new enclosures and decor. I can't imagine the final bill!! I see you've decided to put water dishes back into the enclosures, I might have missed when that happened and I'm really interested to hear your new disposition on adding substrate to some of the gecko's enclosures. I myself followed your kitchen liner bottom for fear of impaction. My two geckos are about 9 months old now and you've helped me exponentially in my journey of caring for them. Thank you!
Oh I just wanted to make sure that they had a source of water because their humid hides are substrate now, so they don’t have paper towel to lap off of. Hope that makes sense!

Wow! All of your enclosures are so well decorated! Im super impressed! I was just looking for ideas for a 36x18 for my gecko soon too. Thanks for listening to the needs of each of your geckos. Ive seen people just assume disabled/special needs geckos dont need special care?? and give them normal gecko set ups?? Im glad you take such good care of all of your pets.
Im sad to see how bad Melisandre's syndrome has gotten. I didnt know it could get that severe from ovulation. I felt awful watching her clip. I cant believe people can still try to justify breeding of enigma/w&y morphs. Its so dishearting. But im glad to see the other geckos are doing well and enjoying their new enclosures! :)

I just stumbled upon your videos today. I’m think of getting a leopard gecko, so I’m trying to do some research. You might have already addressed this in your other videos, but were your geckos born w these neurological problems or did something happen to them? I love your videos!

I've never seen someone use kitchen cabinet liner before but I can see how it would be a great alternative to the other non-loose substrates like paper towels. To clean it do you just wipe it down regularly or replace it? Loved the video! ☺🦎 (Also I love the GOT names 😉)
Aww thanks so much!! Yes i just wipe it down to clean it, but this liner is all new for the new enclosures. I think it looks better than paper towel personally, and that’s why I use it :)

I just adoped two lepoard geckos from my younger sisters friend she hatched them from hatchlings i have had two lepoard geckos in the past but the female that i adopted has A pretty injured front left arm If you have any videos of yours you would suggest to suggest ideas for care I would 100% appreciate it

I really like the enclosures i think i might switch over to these from my exo terra's which are so heavy and im terrified of them cracking one day, plus the pvc stack nicely so no need for a rack. I'll be sure to let them know that you recommended them.
I definitely prefer them to Exo Terra BUT the one good redeeming quality Exo terras have is they can hold water. So my paludarium has to stay an Exo Terra, but the others are going to be replaced with these enclosures next year or so!

Hi Jessica. hope you are all keeping safe and well. I am catching up on you tube videos. Great to see your new enclosures, all the residents look so happy in their new homes :0). My final set of viable eggs hatched! so I now have all my babies. The new arrivals are very fiesty lol. Jesse is my reptile soul mate, she is the most relaxed, chill and handleable of all my Geckos including Ma and Pa.
Next year I hope to be able to upgrade or add two more enclosures to my accommodations as I have kept all my babies (so far).
Now the Government here are considering ANOTHER pointless lock down. It is a pointless exercise that is causing us more grief than it saves and will make my Christmas a very bland affair. If I cannot get out to earn money I will have to ration what I have in the cupboards . My babies will not go hungry I am stocking up on meal worms, Morios and Dubias these are the feeders I can breed myself :0) (may be I should eat them too lol). Ok off to watch the next two videos of your new set ups. Hugs x

HEYY! My Juvenile leopard gecko (that’s I got yesterday) has been sleeping for over 13 ish hours, and its almost 9pm and I put his worms and fresh water in this terrarium, but he just went back to sleep, is there something I should do?
I love your facilities, two questions, the first top is called that worm? and the second that you put on the ground that is not earth? does it look like a sponge tablecloth ??
It is kitchen cabinet liner on the ground! And it’s called a horn worm!

Yes nymeria is still in her Bioactive. Have to be gentle when cleaning as the doors do scratch
Hi, nice video, I'm new to your channel and was wondering why some of the geckos are more active than before (as you said), is it because the enclosures are bigger, or the substrate, or something else?
I run a sanctuary for rescued adopted and special needs reptiles and amphibians, and some of my leopard geckos have neurological disorders, birth defects, or other life-long issues that prevent them from being able to thrive in a larger enclosure, but nearly all of the geckos are in larger than the 20 gallons recommended as the minimum with the exception of 7: one stunted growth gecko with a neurological disorder, one stunted growth gecko with blindness, and the rest are geckos with enigma syndrome, a neurological disorder.

I love the appearance of the tangerine leopard geckos, they are my favorite but quite often these morphs are kind of pricey, for now.
How are the cages heated? Is it individually, or is it a continual heat tape? Very impressive
Continual, but it starts anew every couple rows. I have a video all about how I heat them
What brand/design are your liners? Love them

Hi! Pretty enclosures! My Leo has a severe underbite so I was wondering what flooring stuff u use for them! Like in benjins cage! It would help me so much if you could respond!

@@JessicasAnimalFriends I've been keeping and breeding reptiles and amphibians for 35 years now and they are still a lot cheaper and easier to care for than cats and dogs. For the most part I've stopped breeding reptiles. Ironically leopard geckos and box turtles are the only 2 species I still breed. I have 7 snakes. I only bought my rosy boas. My California kingsnakes, garter snakes and western hognose are rescues who will stay with me until they die. I breed my own dubia cockroaches, red runner cockroaches and mice.
So far no, 2021 isn’t much better 😂

Can you do a video telling us about the different Neurological Syndromes and Deformity common in Leopard Geckos and Geckos in General so we can learn more about how the syndromes affect the Geckos and other Things I think that will be extremely beneficial to different viewers sense you have hands on experience with these issues also these enclosures look amazing.
It’s like you read my mind! I have a video about neurological disorders and neurological damage scripted, will be coming beginning of 2021! And I have a video already filmed about the different defects and injuries a gecko can have coming in a week or two!
@@JessicasAnimalFriends that's so cool and it'll be extremely informative I can't wait looks like we think alike I love how passionate you are about all your babies and animals in general and how passionate you are about helping to spread awareness and useful information to better help animals and future owners and other animals lovers to be able to do the best they can and I feel like people shouldn't have pets unless they do the proper research before getting an animal we can always learn to improve how we care for animals but seriously don't get an animal if you don't know how to take care of it and don't trust everything you hear from a petstore employee . Not all petstore employees know what is best for the animals . Your such an amazing person taking in all these special needs babies one day I want to open up a Exotic animal sanctuary and rescue especially for Reptiles and Animals I've done tons of reasearch on and have experience with. I feel like we need more exotic animal rescues and sanctuaries too.
