Sir, you are an excellent teacher. I wish you were my teacher. Instead, I have someone that reads someone else's PowerPoint slides. I will watch your videos from now on.

Your videos are great for understanding concepts. I only wish you did working examples to demonstrate the theory in practice (I say this having only watched parts 1-3). Overall 8.5/10, very well done.

I wish you were my professor when I took mechanics. It was all theoretical, and triple integrals, and no practical applications. I guess this is a problem when professors slip into academia with out being exposed to hands on industry. I'm gearing up to take my PE, and I started reviewing your videos as a refresher. I'll let you know how it goes.

Man, that is awesome! It's always good to know that my videos are helping people. Good luck on your PE exams.

oh yeah, set attack time on compressor to small as possible. so compressing starts at begging of word not later in middle of word. Thanks again for the great videos!

Yeah, that was one of my first videos.

I love your videos, but on this video, The speech volume pumping (change in volume ) really detracts from the video. I hear different parts of words changing drastically different volumes i.e. sudden changes louder and softer.to fix, if you need compression in your sound (you don't) set the compression ratio to smaller ie 2:1 or 3:1 and increase the release time to maybe 300 ms or more.Compression is not the same as gain, or limiting or expanding. you are using too much compression and or expanding.Try turning up your mic preamp gain, so your mic has a louder volume, and use slight compression to contain small peaks and pops, to make speech easier to hear. But make sure compressor is not "pumping" (reducing volume) mid word, by selecting a long release time. to reduce distortion from too loud signal (sounds really awful! and buzzy) use preamp gain setting to stay somewhat away from max limit, and use limiter to limit volume to not ever hit max level 0db. (distortion, yuk.) You should never see the limiter working ever if settings above are ok.
