The best crews and great service from everyone. From check-in to the flight to baggage claim, everyone is polite and friendly. We fly them twice every year to Hawaii and it is always the same great service

I absolutely LOVE Hawaiian Airlines and their team. Flew First Class a few times from San Jose to Honolulu. But you guys literally DOUBLED your fares! $6K to fly 2 people First Class for a flight 8 months out? I can' afford your First Class anymore and have switched to Alaska for half the price.

He made Hawaiian a billion dollar company by colluding with other airlines to keep prices high. You could fly accross the country for less than a neighbor island ticket.

*He made Hawaiian valuable* by prioritising the airline's safety record, customer satisfaction, and employee morale over its shareholder returns and market valuation. Exactly why Delta is so successful, and why United and Boeing wallow in shit.

@@vaffangool9196 Well said. I'm fine with higher prices if it means employees are looked after.

and then the pandemic came. I have no doubt Hawaiian will continue to flourish and grow afterwards and they will be more sucessful for years to come.

Yes billions of people got ripped off in all stages of the flight. Over charge baggage, not a passengers fault for not getting to their flight and being double and tripled charged shame on him and the airlines.

Oh, please. -- Not gonna say he's not a stand-up guy (don't know a thing about him), but it's easy to "lead" a business *after* you've given the middle-finger to all the people it owed money to by declaring bankruptcy.

and subsequently driving Aloha out of business to create an inter island monopoly. Retiring at the right time as Southwest is about to enter the market and destroy their earnings.
