English pattern! :D 1- make a magic ring/ magic circle and chain 1. 2- make 6 single crochets in the circle. 3- close the ring by pulling the yarn tightly. 4- Now you have to make increases. make 2 single crochets in each stitch. you should have 12 stitches at the end 5- For round 3, make 1 single crochet in one stitch and then an increase stitch (2 single crochets in the same stitch) in the following stitch 6 use a safety pin/ bobby pin/ stitch marker to keep track of your stitches, it gets very hard with magic circles if you dont. 7- By the end of round 3, you should have 18 stitches. 8- now make a slip stitch in the following stitch to complete the base of your narutomaki 9- Now we have to make the edge. for that, chain 2. 10- after that, push your hook through the front loop of the next stitch. and then push thru the front loop of the following stitch. 11- pull yarn thru the two loops and make a slip stitch. Here's the timestamp for this part, its easier if you just watch it, its hard to explain. 3:39 12- after making one "bump", chain 2 and make a regular slip stitch in the next stitch. This serves as your little gap between the bumps to futher define their shape. 13- repeat the pattern of 1 double loop slip stitch and one regular slip stitch until you reach the first bump. dont forget to chain 2 before every stitch! 14- cut yarn an weave it in to hide it. 15- to make the pink swirl you have to embroider it with yarn and a darning needle. its pretty straight forward and shouldnt need explaining, just follow the video!
