The movie was going to be far darker judging by the art work and there's many scenes missing like them exploring the house more. and the game kept the concept and we actually get to see it.
2:56 I always wonder based on that concept art for that planned scene always wonder was that a planned scene at the end of the movie
That scene was in the game and they tried to destroy the house from the inside but they failed that's why it explodes.
