The southern most part of the island, colloquially known as South Point, is also one of the unusual places in Hawaiʻi where you can catch deep sea fish FROM SHORE! But honestly, all of the Hawaiian islands are pretty spectacular in their own ways. You really should come and visit one day, but make sure you stay at least 1 week if you're gonna make that long commute. 😄

I'm soo jealous I would loveeee to go to Hawaii or Australia the only downside to beautiful tropical islands type places is all the damn deadly animals and insects and spiders as big as a small toddler....for such a beautiful paradise they sure have alot of ways for you to die tho lol I've always just wanted to go somewhere with crystal clear blue waters, white sands, palm trees, cool swimming holes with rocks you can jump off!! The closest I've got to anything like that was the Rivers in West Virginia up in the mountains.....not quite the same but clean fresh water, where you can see the bottom with smooth flat boulders for the floor, plenty deep enough and rocks you could jump off or use the swing and drop in, where I live in Southern Maryland we dont got anything like that, our rivers are pretty much flatland the water is dark and brackish and the floor is full of nasty, mucky black silt and theres nowhere you can jump off into it either, all our little creeks are nasty and shallow. Would be cool to just walk out your house and you n friends get together to go to the beach or swimming hole in the woods, but not around here unfortunately
I recommend coming! As long as you respect the islands and the locals there's no real dangers here. Not worse than anywhere else. Enjoy where you are though, I lived in NY, and I miss the winters and the trout lol
