Nyla and Angela work closely together and they have a close bond with each other. And James and Wesley also work together sometimes. They have a good bond. James doesn't have a bond with Nolan, so i understand why they chose Wesley and Angela.
They better not die (or Wesley and Angela if that's some sick plot twist). We will sue for emotional damage
I think this scene and their 'first date' scene perfectly describe how much they've both grown. They can have these adult and awkward conversations with each other without the other one getting upset. They listen to understand the others perspective, not just to get the answer they want to hear. He wasn't scared off when she mentioned their 'grandkids' because he knows Lucy. He knows she thinks about these things and doesn't make her feel bad about it. Even when she told him to reevaluate his ideas for their first date, he agreed and respected her decision. It's sweet to see how far they've come. Finally.
I hope the writers don't ruin this for us.

Besides the fact that I'm happy we finally got Chenford, I do love the relationship between Harper and Lopez and their husband's. That's what I call friend goals ❤️

@@salomenjeri1149ell probably not, but they are making plans for the future in case they need to, my mom did the same thing for me. They dont want to leave her with relatives so they are giving their trust to Angela and Wesley if something WERE to happen. It doesnt necessarily mean they are leaving. i hope
They did a similar storyline in Station 19 , Dean Miller appointed his friend Ben Warren and his wife Miranda as his daughter Prue's guardians of he died , sadly he was in an explosion and succumbed to his injuries, hope the rookie does do the same with Nyla and James.

Because in Station 19 Miller left his daughter with a best marriage couple to raise his daughter but biological grandparents got pissed off son wishes, WELL both side went to court.. but the little girl went to Miller wish to couple he decide raise his daughter.. Yes grandparents could see granddaughter..

@@davidhale8034 If James or Herper family (grandparents) not decided their wishes yes court that happened to station 19 issues Dean Miller add his best friends to raise Prue because how he got raise from his parents and he don't want Prue raise someway as him. He left a Will but his parents got pissed off, they stole their granddaughter from the couples Dean left the daughter with , sold the boat house belongs to Prue (grandparents said the money goes to a account for Prue).. of course they are biological grandparents but they should agree the son's wishes... but at the end that Dean mother health got bad that they need give Prue to the couple Dean decided raise her .. Friend need to accept work on calls are dangerous because they don't want their granddaughter lost second father in fire too what happened to biological father died..
