Yep, if you watched the whole, unedited video of it, you'd know he corrected/explained what he meant the moment after he said it. But of course all anyone bothered to watch was the roughly 2 and a half min clip where his explanation was edited out. I mean damn, I hate the guy, but even I could take a moment and watch the unedited video. He misspoke, it happens sometimes during a spontaneous conversation. It would be one thing if he said that and never explained what he meant, but that's not the case here. @@jdogsful yea what is this “trust” thing. Whole interview Lex is lowkey looking down at Kanye and treating him like a child and trying to white knight him under the guise of being open-minded. I usually like Lex Friedman interview style but in this world (especially as Kanye) you don’t owe anyone your trust, especially when they’re passive aggressively attacking you. His compliments also seemed either off or backhanded to get him to drop his guard. Watch parts of the interview again

I watched the entire lex interview at first it was hard to watch but if you keep listening you understand where Kanye is coming from it's not that you agree with him but you hear why he does what he does it's very childish and narcissistic and at the end he apologizes and it's beautiful I actually cried!!!
