I know they say you need a 4x4 to get to Animas Forks, I could do that in My Hyundai Accent, with no problem, but with that said I will make this trip this year but I will do it with my Ram 4X4 instead just to be on the safe side, I like that you made this video its better then using GPS or a map, I know what to look for, it will make a great road trip, thanks for sharing your adventure,
@@Andremx12 It is definitely worth going, especially if you have an off road capable vehicle. There is a gas station in Silverton. Not sure about cell service, I rarely check my phone when I am on these trips

A vehicle that is capable to handle the roads? Thirty years ago I drove to Animas Forks in a Toyota CAMRY.
