THIS is one of the most underrated VIDEO EVER! Kind Sir you are doing the Lords 😂work! There is no way to describe how valuable THIS post is for my family of 8 visiting Europe in August! Because of this video we have decided to cancel our private tour and instead DIY Livorno/PISA thank you!!!!
WOW... this is what I was looking for. We wanted a DIY excursion from the port. Thank you so much for your attention to detail!!! You covered everything I want to see....Buses, trains, food, sightseeing, toilets, and the views .Can't wait to visit and tell you about it.!!! Thank you so much!!!
Oh my gosh Thank You so much for such an informative video. We are taking a cruise to Rome and then on to Barcelona, Spain. I was doing some research on the ships port in Florence when I came upon your video. We will be on Celebrity. We were wondering how to get to the city when they drop you off at the City Center. You were so specific in your transportation that I really appreciated it. Most people just skim right over that part. And for the first time travelers this can be alittle scary. If I have this correct you're saying take the shuttle bus to the City Center, then take another bus to the train station and take the train into Florence. Is this correct?
Hi, thank you for the great feedback, glad you found it helpful. I also have a clip for Barcelona which you may find helpful too. Yes, that is right, once you arrive in port take the free shuttle ( your Cruise should provide this, ours was free). This will take you to the city centre and just across the road where you get dropped off you need the LAMBLU bus that takes you straight to the train station. I would recommend not to purchase your train tickets in advance as timings can vary, rather purchase the train tickets from the booths once you get to the station, so easy to use. Hope this helps.
Hi, the journey from Florence to Pisa is around 1 hour. It all depends on your itinerary and what you plan to see and visit in both places. I would recommend you time how much time you have off the boat and see what you can fit in. Remember to allow time to get back on the ship if you are travelling from Pisa.
Hi, thank you for watching. It's the 'LAM BLU' bus that you will need. Tickets have to be purchased before you get on the bus. You can buy them from the Tabacco shops on the way and for the return from the train station. Hope that helps.
We were in Port for 10 hours. Florence is absolutely beautiful, we didn't anticipate we would spend quite a few hours there. It's definitely doable if your not looking to go inside and visit each and every Cathedral/ Attraction. There is nothing much to see in Pisa apart from the leaning Tower, again, if you are wanting to go inside then I would manage your time effeciently as the queues can be quite long. Hope this helps.

Do you have a good reference iternery with time? When would you recommend leaving for PISA from Florence?

Thanks for sharing. Can you tell me how to get bus tickets from Livorno centre to train station? Is LAM the bus number? TIA 😘

@@PlacesToVisit-JustTravelExpert You buy BUS tickets from tobacco shop, cash or card? What's price for ticket and how long is it good for?
Hi, thanks for the tips! Is the bus from the port to the city center free for all companies? I'm going to MSC, thank you.
Yes free for all companies
How many hours did you have in port? Visiting both places seems aggressive.
