It's a song about what it means to be an artist and to be naked on stage, vulnerable. Basically, she's saying, here I am, it's me, and this is what I have to say in all honesty. It's a beautiful message.

I am SO glad France has gone back to a more traditional sound...I LOVE authentic sounding French music, sun in French and sung with emotion/passion. I can see EXACTLY why this is hovering at the top of the betting odds. Its soooooo classy, pure, raw and authentic. Love it! Well done France ;-)

I never thought I could like a Eurovision song more than “Amar Pelos Dois”, but this masterpiece takes my breath away each time I listen to it. Forget Eurovision, this became one of my favourite songs of all time as soon as I heard it back in January, and Barbara has become one of my favourite artists (if you like ‘Voilà’, check out ‘CHAIR’). So elegant, so graceful, yet so raw and so authentic. She is a true artist, and I hope she has a long career.
Any other year, the Swiss, Romanian and Bulgarian entries would have been runaway favourites for me. But if ‘Voilà’ doesn’t win now, I will be in mourning.

Every time I listen to this song, especially with this superb acoustic version, it gives me chills, almost tears in my eyes.
What pride, as a young French woman, to be represented by this magnificent and talented woman.
Never have I believed so much in a victory at Eurovision, but Barbara gives me hope, a hope of victory and of beauty.
It's just amazing. I want to sleep until May 22, 9 p.m. and see this woman singing and leaving her soul on stage.
