My general dentist had a "gum doctor" aka periodontist do my bone grafting and implant post which is titanium ( the best so they told me ) from a Swiss company Straumann.
To minimize having a dental implant , I believe, is to see a dentist right away if you have a tooth ache. A root canal will at least allow the tooth be saved .

Thailand, especially Bangkok has above average to very good dentistry and several good implant centers. I got my initial single dental implant placement in California however last September 2023 and the abutment goes in next month (June 2024). This was all done in Northern California by my specialists since I have good insurance from work. But if I didn't have dental insurance, and had to pay out-of-pocket, I would have definitely gone to Bangkok, Thailand for the procedure. Anyhow, good luck with the procedure and nice video!
