You guys are awesome! As a dad of four girls I really appreciate how you include your kids in everything. Eddie always makes me laugh. 😂 when I watch the reel of you and Kenz coming into the finish line made me tear up! 😢
    Thanks for this community!

I did notice, too, when Nick fell behind and let you and your daughter share the moment. I thought that was a selfless and classy thing to do. Loved you and Eddie were able to share this experience, in different ways, with Mackenzie

There were thousand things going on that weekend, so good to hear some of the behind of scene things. Only came across the yellow wave while watching the livestream and brought me here. Love it 💛💛💛

I was so excited to see you at the top of Bath rd in Foresthill. Got to hang out with Nick while waiting for you to come up the road. Very nice man. Enjoyed having a few words with you. Didn’t know how bad you were feeling until you puked in the middle of our conversation. You apologized and went back to being your usual very kind person. Was such a fun day hanging out in Foresthill. Best day of the year!

    Sally McRae,
Your resilience, positivity, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity are truly inspiring. You embody the essence of never giving up, always striving to do your best, and finding the silver lining in every situation. Your family, with their love, laughter, and joy, radiates a sense of togetherness and support that touches the hearts of many.
Your journey through challenges and triumphs serves as a beacon of hope for so many, including me. Your story resonates deeply with those who have faced setbacks and obstacles but continue to push forward, one step at a time. Your example encourages others to persevere, to believe in themselves, and to find the courage to tackle the difficult tasks that lie ahead.
Even in moments of struggle and pain, you manage to uplift and inspire those around you. Your authenticity and genuine nature make you more than just a running icon; you are a friend, a mentor, and a source of strength for many.
Thank you for sharing your journey, your highs and lows, your laughter and tears. You have touched the lives of countless individuals, including me, who find solace and motivation in your words and actions. Your impact is profound, and your legacy of resilience and hope will continue to inspire others to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles they face.
    With deep gratitude and admiration,
Dan Walmsley and many others in the UK.

This is so special for you to share your special event with us - especially so for those of us working thru some doozie curve balls in life and injury ourselves. The pod is good to the last drop. The outro is every bit as good as the Top Gun theme!

Great job, Sally, Eddie, and Makenzie. One great thing about distance running is that there are always ways to improve in our best races and great lessons and memories in the not-so-good ones, and Sally’s race and this podcast definitely shows the latter.

LaCroix- next sponsorship??!! Nick Bare seems like the complete human. From the way he runs his business to the way he takes care of his sponsored athletes- class act. Can't wait to see Makenzie kill it at NAU! What a great attitude you had/have about this whole experience, Sally. It is a pleasure to have you in this sport.💛

Thank you for being such an inspiration. Every principle you live by in racing can be applied throughout all life’s challenges.
Congratulations to Mackenzie. Flagstaff is a beautiful town, and NAU is a beautiful and historic University.
I grew up in Flagstaff back when it was still a small town. I was there when Mt. Eldon burned down.
Blessings to you all, and always remember:

Great episode! Mak-Mc was great! Lastly and maybe silly to ask, Sally, you do know that there are liquid carbs/calories? While listening to your stories about trying to eat, I couldn’t stop wondering why you weren’t drinking calories.💕
