Hi Guys!
in this little video i will show you how to check the real kilometrage or mileage of the car.
Let's assume that you bought a second hand Renault, and you want to be sure that the dealer didn't fake the real kilometrage of the car. With this little video tutorial you can check which is the real kilometrage or mileage by checking it directly from the ABS ECU, where you can find a lot of other interesting parameters always calculated by the ABS ECU!
Just pay attention because the risk to brick the unit is pretty high and the video is just for educational purposes!
REMEMBER TO WRITE DOWN ORIGINAL VALUES BEFORE DOING THE MOD!! AND REMEMBER TO LOCK THE CAR FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES TO LET THE ECU's TO SHUT OFF!!
As usual be sure to follow all the steps and don't modify other things, because you risk to harm the car permanently!

I have a Scenic dci 1,5, 2017 in the Bose version. It has a lane keeping assistent, which is turned off by default every time I start. Can it be turned on by default by using DDT4ALL? I can't find a way to do it.

I wonder if you ever changed anything in climate control.
Like, if you press Auto the ventilation starts, but then in order to stop it you must go in the settings, you must click about 3-4 times to stop it. And the touch screen is not responsive some times. Is there a way you can make the Auto button, to stop it and not only start it?

So here is my problem.
My Renault Espace IV 2.0 DCI 173 hp. Bj. 07.2007 had an error message in the clip
DF717 PRESSURE BEFORE THE PARTICLE FILTER 1.def
The sensor then came and was replaced by me, the next morning I wanted to start the diva and it was then in the display ignition lock check, okay nothing at thought this message comes more often with Renault vehicles, so key card inserted into the card reader and then came this message turn steering wheel + press start but nothing happened no matter which key card I use.
So I removed the steering wheel lock and disassembled it, a lot on me that the return spring flew around in it, which should not really be, so everything cleaned and lightly greased and everything assembled, after I cleaned the engine with compressed air, the steering wheel lock made clack clack again, but the message remained in the display and the engine control unit was offline, which is
So I got a used steering wheel lock from a donor vehicle, with another part number, I then installed this and you could start the engine, only it didn't run but the ignition went again, the engine control unit was active again and with start pilot the engine ran again.
With my old steering wheel lock you heard the clack after connecting it and how the interior flew out of each other again, I only connect the board you hear the clack clack and you can also feel it, but the message Check ignition lock remains in the display, that tells me that the board has a problem.
When it comes out of the donor vehicle, I get the message in the display card into the card compartment, card is in the card compartment but nothing happens, also the engine control unit is offline and in the clip it shows me bar lock not found.
Only the ignition no longer wants to and the engine control unit is also offline again.
Now I have got a steering wheel lock with the same part number that was reset.
Can I connect the steering wheel lock with the same part number & it learns itself?
Or can I just reset it from the donor vehicle and then it learns anew?
Just how do I reset the steering wheel lock with DDT4ALL, would be great if you could help me.

I always used elf evolution with Renault specific, but I never bought it from the dealer, always bought on eBay with more than half than regular price
@@MicheleP I have tryed Amsoil with the right aprovals for the engine, since im a big fan for real synthetics and especially American ones....however it seems to pull a little less than Elf, think ill switch to Total or the new generation Elf (RN17 aproval)

Please can you explain ur advice starting from 1:15 about dashboard and start/stop? I'm not sure i understand what is it about ?
You insert the card in it's slot, then press and hold the start button for like 10 seconds and the dash will remain on until you remove the card or press the button again.
@@aktapur543 oh, ok.. so it's for Renault with cards... i was thinking it is something for all cars including Dacia with standard key start. Thanks for answer anyway!
@@miladinseratlic5984 for cars with nomal key i think you must turn the key on the "accesories on" position (that's what long pressing the button does on renault cars with a key card)

Hello Michele, I sent you an email a couple of days ago! I really appreciate your work and I am a big fan of it. I started to change some stuff on my Kadjar. I have a very good idea for your next video, some of my friends played with developer mode and they pressed on the HIGH button out of curiosity and then their R-link 2 screen went black and they only can hear sound from radio without any display. I know there is a way using DDT4ALL to restore the display setting back to its default parameters so the screen will start to show again.. Hope you can do this video soon :)

Unfortunately DDT4ALL is not yet allowed to read/write in the new ECUS made from 2020 :( even VW group has the same situation.

Not at all. Quality is very poor compared to other cars. Engine is really good and the handling too, but plastics and other materials sucks. In three years I’ve changed twice the front suspension due to a lot of noise, the steering wheel leather is gone, the leather of the seat has a lot of ripped parts.. and so on..
@@MichelePuh that is not a nice thing to hear. I mean I know a lot of people with new Megane, some are very pleased, some are not. It is a mixed bag. I think a lot depends on the year of production.

@@MicheleP it is usually like this with cars, you have to get lucky. My uncle always drove Golfs, and after a terrible experience with the last one he is not buying VW anytime soon for sure.

Inner wheel is actually spinning slower than the outer wheel when turning... Also, you can't modify the km, and is clearly stating ther why. But as i've said, you don't have a clue :)
