    Hi,
    It is in explicit to say something about your explanation. Believe me, you are matchless as far as your explanation is concerned. I am an English teacher and have engaged myself in this activity for the past 30 years. I have come across innumerable teachers, but they can't come close to you.

    Hi ! Thank you so much.
    I have some questions .
    Why haven't you changed the tense at 11:30 ?( we should go back a tense )
    I think the example would be :
    I asked him if / whether he liked to eat pizza . ( I've changed the subject ( you ) to ( he ) because I think it's better )
    Am I right or not ?
    And why have you used ( told ) for the question? I think we should use the verb ( ask ) .
    Please correct me if I am wrong.
    Thanks .

    • @RezaNeiriz
      @RezaNeiriz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both of what you said are right! Thank you! I just wanted to focus on the target grammar and not confuse the viewers with additional changes to the tense and pronouns.

    Hi Teacher
    I noticed in past perfect continuous examples that Naun clause changed in to "What they had ( being ) doing when we arrived " instead of what ı expected to be like "What they had ( been ) doing when we arrived " . should it be like this if so . Why ? or is it typo ?
    Sincerely

    Hi Teacher,
    I'm from Taiwan, and it's really nice to watch this video.
    It's clear:))) Thank you!
    This video talk about noun clause, and how about adjective clause?
    They're not totally the same in their function and position right?
    How can I use the way you eliminate and move the words in adjective clause? For example, Dr.Wang bought an old car that/which cost only NT$30,000.
    What may be the original form?
    Sincerely

    • @RezaNeiriz
      @RezaNeiriz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Fatima-Zahra! Thank you for your question. When a that-clause is the subject of a sentence, it is more common to use "the fact that," but if you don't use it, it is still grammatically correct. It just feels unnatural when you say it.

    how do i improve my grammar, especially in writing skill? grammar is quite complex to achieve

    • @RezaNeiriz
      @RezaNeiriz  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      One way to improve your grammar is reading grammar books. Oxford Practice Grammar at the Intermediate Level by John Eastwood is a good place to start. You have to pay attention to the usage of the grammar structures, not just the syntax (the way of arranging words together to make sentences). At the same time, try to read English novels and short stories. Oxford has a great collection of short stories under the title of Oxford Bookworm Series. These are simplified versions of the original stories and are adapted to different levels. Finally, while you are speaking or writing, pay active attention to your grammar and try not to make mistakes.
