The Guangzhou-Shenzhen railway running through the park

The Changping Railway Park covers an area of about 400,000 square metres and is located on the north side of the park road at the intersection of the three villages of Banshi, Hengjiangxia and Xiakeng in Changping Town. Among other things, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway passes through the park, the western edge is enclosed by a railway and the eastern edge is the Guangzhou-Meizhou-Shantou Railway.
常平铁路公园占地约40万平方米，位于常平镇板石、横江厦和霞坑三村交汇处的公园路北侧。其中广深铁路从公园中穿过，西部边沿由一条铁路围合，东部边沿是广梅汕铁路。
