Many people never saw Trillanes as this kind of strategist bec he was painted by the Duterte govt (or strategists) as nothing but a failed and forever failing putschist. But look at him rowing the boat when the others are just watching the tides. He's right. If serving the people is deep in your heart, you need to first win, which you can never do if you do not get off your high horse and engage with the masses. Your goal is to serve but you can't do that by losing.
He's not holding back and there's a lot of good logic to what he is saying. Yes, it hurts but better to own up to mistakes and shortcomings in order to move forward. We have to be realists in our world.
