They 100% just missclicked. I've lost games because I tried to activate a quick-play by dragging it into the field, but the game decided to set it instead. The same thing probably happened here.
I use a variant that aims to go into either Baronne, Unicorn, and Immortal Gearfried or Immortal Gearfried and Accesscode, using unicorn as material, for otk. It's super consistent because the deck gets to play 3 different ROTAs, 1 ROTA, 3 durendal to search a fire warrior, and 3 heritage of the chalice to search a noble knight or noble arms equip. It also can play Isolde at her best. Super Quantum Red is a free special summon that is never maxx C'd and actually forces it out if the opponent has it. Fire Flint Lady is a warrior extender. Ogier is foolish burial and has massive synergy with Renaud, Maugis, Gearfried and Astolfo. Astolfo to banish Gearfried from grave, either after you sent it from deck with Ogier or from hand with Oliver and make it level 9 to go into Baronne. Renaud to get the Gearfried out of grave or banished zone and sometimes to grab a Durendal that you sent with Isolde. 1 Maugis to recycle your grave and banished zone for a draw and can be an option if you didn't use Ogier's effect already and instead summoned it off Isolde. The ratios I like best are 3 Renaud, Durendal, and Heritage. 2 Ogier, Astolfo, Oliver, SQ Red, FF Lady, Ash and Gearfried. 1 Maugis and a Rota. Everything else is even more up to personal taste with things like Kaijus, Prosperity, and the less used knights like MD Roland, brothers, and Ivyanne. I run 1 of each Noble Knight extra deck monster, 2 Isolde, a Baronne, Borreload Savage, Hiita, Halq, Unicorn and Accesscode. Double Isolde has saved my ass multiple times. You don't technically need the all 3 xyz but Custennin is really good and is even better when you have all 3. Isolde and 1 Custennin prevented me from getting otked by Darklord Despia because Custennin floated into Rank 5 Artorigus, which floated into a defender that netted me advantage and led to my victory. Halq is actually only in there for link climbing into Accesscode. You can go Isolde, summon a warrior, Hiita, summon opponent ash, Halq, summon your ash, Unicorn and AC for a board wipe.

Fortunately, the absolute mad-lad went through his entire Extra Deck, so we know that there is: -Dragon Destroyer Swordsman x1 -Celestial Double Star Shaman x1 -Tatsunoko x1 -Martial Metal Marcher x1 -Cupid Pitch x1 -Denglong x1 -Garden Rose Maiden x1 -Captain Oliver x1 -Shooting Riser Dragon x2 -Buster Dragon x1 -Emperor Charles x1 -Baronne x1 -Isolde x1 -Halq x1 Since we saw that the combo is based around going through Isolde and Halq (getting the Ogier dump to grab Gearfried with Renaud was a bonus), you need to get two Warriors and one Tuner on field from your initial hand to go full combo. The Ogier/Renaud with Arborea in hand was probably best case scenario, as I can only see the Arborea as searchable with Reinforcement. It's worth noting that Reinforcement, Heritage of the Chalice, and Durendal can all search Ogier, Renaud, and Oliver (and we saw all of those) so that's 7 search spell cards out of a 44 card deck. I imagine that you want as many of Ogier, Renaud, and Oliver as you can have in your deck as well (there's also no way that Arborea is a one-of, I just don't know whether it'd be at three). Assuming that you want x3 of all four Warriors, we'd then be at 19 cards total. Sorry that this is about to be long, but there is a ridiculous number of one-of searches/dumps in here: Phoenix Gearfried, Buster Blader, Doppelwarrior, Smoke Grenade, Plaguespreader, Synchro Fusionist, Destruction Sword Fusion, Jiaotu, Fairy Tail Snow, Black Garden, Dragon Buster Destruction Sword, and Nine Pillars. Add those 12 one-ofs with the two Pulaos we also saw, and we're at 33 of 44. Granted that it's not the exact ratios, but that 33 is considering every card we saw in the duel except Ash, which nobody plays one of lol. Since it's a combo Deck that is functionally dead to Ash/Imperm/Maxx/Veiler/Nibiru, you're definitely running x2 Called and likely at least x2 Crossout with at least one copy of each (wouldn't recommend multiple to avoid drawing searchable one-ofs, but idk about the original pilot). Assuming Ash x2, Called By x2, Crossout x2, Maxx x1, Imperm x1, Veiler x1, and Nibiru x1, that'd be 10 more to put us at 43/44. Idk what the mystery card is, but it's possibly an Equip to avoid being unable to summon Doppelwarrior with Isolde if you hard draw the one Smoke Grenade. If it were me, I'd use Joyeuse as an extender (and probably drop one Oliver or Arborea to run two of them and still be 44 cards). I'm sorry that was so long and it's probably not completely accurate. But that's probably about as close as I'll get to reconstructing a deck from watching one duel 🤣🤣🤣 Added Note: just thought about the mystery card further, and another little trick I might recommend if you're down a search is to run Fire Flint Lady in that last spot, that way it's possible to dump Fire Flint off of Ogier and add back to hand with Renaud for the free SS.
