That guitar solo still jumps in my head randomly. Such a badass song!
So the solo on this song was a guest spot by one of their producers Jason Suecoff. When he sings 'my mind is chasing' it always sounds like 'my buddy Jason' 😂😂
Dennis (lead singer 1999-2007) is now a investigator with a central Florida law enforcement agency...
this band needs to be back. 🔥🔥🔥
Thumbs up if you heard this song a million times from advertisements during Headbanger's Ball.
2023 and still going through high-school music tastes for workout motivation
best song ever... rip 2006 ... the year of metal
@@gskittlez8885 it been 15 years now it's 2021 My god it's scary time flys when you are having fun.
Ask my former workmate and he would tell you that metal died after the 80s. It really depends on who you ask. Stuff like this still gets made today, you just need to seek it.
met the bass player last weekend at one of our shows in daytona. cool dude.
First heard this in high school twenty years ago
They need to come back and make another album 🤘
Back when the Autumn offering was awesome
Found this album randomly on Spotify last month. Been in heavy rotation. I love the mix, everything sounds so warm and not overproduced like a lot of modern metal. It’s also refreshing to hear “real” guitar playing…I miss guitar solos.
Take me back to 2004! 🤘👊
this song randomly came to mind, good stuff
Haven't listened to these guys in ten years....for some reason I had this song in my head all day so I decided to give it a listen.
back in the day they played at the sanctuary in san antonio, i was 16 and with my friends we were the only ones there. they still put on the full show and didnt hold back, and neither did we headbanging and moshing, and afterwards we mingled with the band and sean took me into the bathroom to do shots of crown royal with him and my friend. it was so awesome.
@LastDropFalls i was 16 bro the drinking age is 21 where i am, dumbass. so yes the bathroom is neccessary. and yes the story is 100% true.
My teen years man
That song slapping like hell in Tony hawk's downhill jam in 2006 when I was a kid playing this on PS2
My band played a couple shows with them back in the day (when they had their original vocalist), and then with their second vocalist (who was from Hell Within, another band we played shows with). The weirdest thing was about a month after our first show with them, they were on music choice and we're all like "wait, isn't that that band from Florida we played with at the firehouse? Holy shit!" Great group of guys, lots of fun to play with. Makes me miss those days. My band never really went anywhere (aside from a few shows at the Stone Pony and a music video that doesn't seem to exist anymore), but we got to play with great acts including the Autumn Offering, Divinity Destroyed, and Superbob (they were called "Bob" back then), on a pretty regular basis (well, Divinity and Bob were regulars, we only played with the Autumn Offering a couple of times).
"Embrace the gutter. Cut up another. These little white pills won't kill you now."
+Epic Beard Gamer is the vocalist in this song Dennis Miller or Matt McChesney?
Allie Reinhardt They recorded this album with Dennis, and they toured with him for the rest of the summer. He was still with them when they played with us at the firehouse show, but I'm not sure how much longer he was with them. I know the next time they came through about a year later they had Matt from Hell Within (another band who had played at that firehouse show) on vocals, so the switch was made somewhere in that period of time.
@@failurestates I noticed that one of the members is from mushroomhead it was Tom Felton plus he played the bass
Dude, I used to go to shows every weekend in this little coffee shop and Bob played there a few times(2007-2009ish. Not my taste in music but they're so good live. The singer was wild AF.
I saw these guys open for dope in Columbus oh I think in 07. What a good show I wish they hadn’t broke up but they chased the trends of metal core and deathcore but they just couldn’t get the attention they deserved
take me back
Tommy church in mushroomhead and
The autumn offering
The singer cracks me up, it's like he doesnt know what faces to make
I was searchin for some new, unknown band almost for three hours, and now I finally found it! And that solo.. that made my day!
These guys seemed so much more metal with their original vocalist
I love your profile picture is it children of bodom follow the reaper
I love this . I was 14 when it came out. Used to see it on the old victory bonus dvds. Maan. Such good times 2005
@@ghostriley1697 all the time brotha, still playing these riffs on guitar because it's so dam good
So underrated. Found this from Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
Man I was in the guitarist studio jamming out on his dean in the video he grew up where I lived and my pops played guitar in front of him. So he started. Im just going down memory lane. Hung out there quite a bit while he was in town.
When I found this band as a kid going through the Victory Label bands, who would have known I still enjoy these songs 10+ years later!
That is my favorite guitar solo of all time. It has everything i want in a solo.
Found out about this band from commercials during headbangers ball. metal till the day i die
This song remains the most epic to see live of all the bands I've seen. Saw them in 2006 opening for Mushroomhead and got to hangout with Sean and Tommy after the show. Still have a poster Sean autographed saying to party hard, though he partied a little too hard and was let go from the lineup soon after.
The later vocalist wasn't bad but this lineup just hit harder. Wish Tommy would've taken his solos with him during his time in Mushroomhead but he's done well teaming up with Waylon Reavis since then.
YESSS still good after all these years
the lyric from this album is so cheezy but the instrumental are on point and great ,they're so underrated
Bruh...how am I jus now discovering this masterpiece??
I fucking love the solo gives me goose bumps everytime
EMBRACE THE GUTTERRRRRRRRRRR
Infancia
These guys played a tiny local venue on my 16th birthday and it ended up being an almost private show. This brings back memories.
Love rock 😎❤
That solo is fucking insane
Great solo, just gotta plug it in :P
Its the Michael Schenker signature from Dean Guitars. You know...the guy who melted our faces in the scorpions.
I wanna hire the dancers for my birthday party. Somebody make that happen.
The old members need to come back. when i heard this song for the first time. I was like holy shit these guys are heavy now its like. What happned its just not the same.
Their self titled album is pretty damn heavy. Check out the song "Born Dead."
The first two albums and the self titled album are by far my favorite. I don't really listen to "Requiem" or "Fear Will Cast No Shadow".
Minha infância
Back in 2010 I was like: 90s was the only excellent metal decade and 80s was so so. But dude, the 2000s had The autumn offering, From autumn to ashes, Bullet for my valentine, Mastodon, Suicide silence, Whitechapel, etc. Older bands that gave us great albums: Gorgoroth, Vital remains, Metallica, Iron maiden and more.
Hatebreed
Trivium
Atreyu
Avenged sevenfold
Killswitch engage
As I lay dying
Bleeding through
la guitarra suena cn ganas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lml
2011? Ι remember listening to this song in about 2007
embrace the butter! god of banana's!
good track
THDJ ❤
Such a beast intro.
Fucking ay, I love that damn solo.
This shit isn't smoke, it isn't fire, it's a goddamn INFERNO.
ooooh props to the left handed drummer as well
That's my faveortie song
the shit right here
So fooking underated
This album and Revelations of the Unsung are their best albums. Their other stuff is also good, but nothing compares to this.
VIVA LA VIEJA ESCUELA!!!!!
someone needs to chart this for clone hero
Tony Hawk Downhill Jam brought me here
Clean guitar, mean vocals, sick fucking song.
This album was magical... In my book they were on the same playing field as Shadows Fall. Such a fantastic album. Even their next album with Matt from Hell Within was kick ass. :D
I, totally, agree with you!!! This is the first song I heard from TAO. The solo, in this song, still blows my mind!!! I highly enjoy all 5 albums that they put out.
some type of Dean guitar I would think?
i loved this band cos of this album....then it just went completely different with the next 2 after the singer was kicked or w/e, then their latest one is more heavier which is badasssss \m/
did Denise ever sing for any other band?
anyone that knows these guys check out Sean Robbins book and movie coming out. the movie has a trailer 8th round pick
I personally dig both singers. They both had their own unique style. It's like I like both Sammy Hagar and DLR when it comes to VH. I think you might dig "Hell Within." The second vocalist for the autumn offering did vocals on their 1st and I think 2nd album.
embrace the gutttarrrrr
Back when metal was really metal
If only that kid had taken better care of his teeth... maybe they wouldn't be hunting him down. So sad.
Everything metal should be. Loved the album. Too bad the core of the band didn't last long.
Tony Page victory didn’t promote the band. They was trying to market them like the Acadia Strain.
@@chrisjohnson8928 victory totally fucked this band. This band was great and never got the recognition they needed. First two albums, even the third with McChesney are some of the few albums I can listen to full through.
What kind of guitar is the lead guitarist playing?
epic intro riff!
Tony Hawk
*Headbanging I N T E N S I F I E S*

is it just me or it sounds a lot like avengen - unholy confession for the first 30 second or so
I hate watching the video of a metal song i love, it really does just kill it.... Why do i do this to myself?
this is the shittt
was an awesome game
the game of my childhood
Just brutal to bad these guys didn't last
another good band that is disbanded .. they now join. the likes of chimaira , God forbid , as I lay dying , diecast , twelve tribes , haste the day , shadows fall , bleed the sky ect ect
Colin Quinn
shadows fall is on hiatus, brain (death ray vision), matt (metal allegiance)and jason (anthrax), they are still on hiatus.
Colin Quinn at least killswitch n machine head are going strong ....I have discovered newer bands to fill the void left by the absence of the mentioned bands ... Wolves at the gate, war of ages , being as an ocean , the colour morale , bury tomorrow , phinehas .... But the metalcore era from 2003 was the best era ever .
I destroyed this CD back in the day
These little white pills won't kill you now!
I remember seeing them open for hatebreed the night they got signed. The bass player was skinny and the singer had short hair. I dont know what happened but they shell of a band performing under their name should just stop. Theres not even an original member anymore.
Much beter
Emo:3 for my life😥😥😥😥😣😣

This second album and their first are the real and true Autumn Offering. Any thing after that is fake and cheap. Old school Autumn Offering with Dennis Miller forever.
Actually the band was still good, just didnt have a great singer..dont let one singer ruin the bands reputation
new singer pisses me off
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam!!
Not wrong pal
So depressing when you realise the days are gone theses days where the best. R.I.P 2006
Nope
