It only works is because if you don’t turn that setting on, it will use the in game default height but when you use that setting it uses your real world height no matter what game. For example I went into Rec Room and it said those 4 foot six with the adjust height.

If you want long arms, make sure you don't have the default headstrop and make sure you have one that goes to the back of your head and the front, not on top of the head. And then Turn your headset upside down. It might be a little bit painful or hard to see. But you will get longer arms 💪 I tried it myself go figure it out
