alittle off topic but destiny should add something were you can choose your showcase weapon like the gun our guardian holds like on our screen or in story cut scenes or cut scenes in general
they did consider it but they chose Khvostov for simplicity sake. Apparently our guardian being able to hold any weapon in a cutscene is too OP and kinda awkward if you hold a bow LOL

Chromatic Fire and Strand is nice because you can proc unraveling rounds and cause stand explosion AND if you consume your grenade as a warlock, all your kills will also be causing suspend explosions. Really fun combo!
Devour is a lot stronger than restoration, plus you can extend it with any kill, restoration only gets extended with solar damage and that is if you have Ember of Empyrean equipped, Devour has that extension baked in by default

I can’t wait for the launch trailer tomorrow! Witch Queen and Shadowkeep had the best ones to me, showed off the new exotics, powers and had music to the theme to the dlc. Hope Cross streams early for it 👀
Seems fair that the chromatic fire build was the winner. It was the only one that really built around the exotic in a creative way by using chromatic to let outbreak proc those effects. The stasis build is just an osmiomancy build with outbreak equipped and the strand one was good because necrotic and unraveling are good, not because it particularly synergized with outbreak
I disagree, but I love my necrotics lol. Dot them to death with unravel, nanites, and poison. The poison/unravel is kind of an oldie but goodie. Adding nanites into the mix...strandnites. it's just a great build that's going to be more potent with exotic class items (spirit of necrotics is one of the warlock class item). So a devour build with a non-shiite melee... void 3.0 was a warlock melee nerf, change my mind... but there's another melee focused spirit as well that is in the second column. (It's late and I can't think) Farming for that and increased super damage. Star eaters just to fuck around and find out.
The necrotic grip build was a obvious answer, I’ve already been shredding with that build the second the second week of outbreak came. Corruption, plus siva corruption is a match made perfected. We’ve been subbing it the corruption perfected build.

It’s a simple build you just run max strength, go crazy with outbreak and if you ever see large groups or really thicc guys toss a melee at em. It’s a sit back and let fireworks fly (plus if you have a solid dps heavy) necro with arcane needle is one of the #1 dps options in the game! Stick em and melt em or let the corruption spread! Hope that helps someone else can help explain too that be great.
Definitely. I originally was rocking Necrotic Grip with Osteo Striga because it would continuously spread poison with each kill. But since they nerfed it I’ve been to find something else to replace it. Outbreak with rewind rounds filled that void.
Chromatic outbreak is my old build prior to new zero hour. I run it with ticuu with a firefly scout sometimes for double explosions after ticuu primes them..
My favorite part about the darkness Subclasses is that both have a fragment that ties into grenades. Strand has dealing damage gives grenade energy. Stasis has taking damage gives grenade energy
My favourite so far is strand hunter with prec hits severing targets, kinetic surges, woven Mail off orbs, outbreak kills spawning tangles while woven is active, spinning tangle buddy every cooldown, and to top that off - Aeon for reload and weakening with rewind rounds and outbreak catalyst. It’s a beast.

Stasis will be best with it, especially after final shape. Sanguine with new rift or even just osmiomancy. Increased damage with primary to slowed or frozen is nasty.

As much as every build is fine, any strand with the fragment that severes on precision hits is absolutely incredibly simple, plus it's going to spawn a tangle which every class has a beneficial effect for.
Hunter, outbreak, knucklehead radar, strand, shackle grenade, marksman dodge and dodge clone. Maelstrom. I like using strand lasts longer, damage gets grenade, orbs for armor, and i cant remember the last one(edit: crits sever). Kinetic orb, reaper, time dilation, recuperation on legs and a kinetic damage mod.
They put fortracers damage boost to low health on it and it synergies with nanites damage. When the enemy get to 30%hp, you do 1% more damage. As the enemy goes down to 1%hp, you're doing upto an extra 30% damage. The targeting is a nice bonus as well as radar staying up as you aim.
Oh! You won't notice knucklehead damage on redbars. It's for when you're stacking nanites and adding up damage. Then, the enemy health gets low and you're doing even more damage. I recommend a disorienting auto loading nade launcher as well but you do you. I like blinding so I can get a few nanites before they become a threat. Once they are done being blinded, it's about time to dodge to reload and set up a clone. Then keep shooting since now, they're distracted. Lol then you get an orb from the kill, so now you're healed and have armor.... its just really effective. I've cleared multiple 50s onslaught. I'm not set on a heavy since rockets have overload, I like nade launchers better, personal preference. Sorry this was long.

My friend and I loaded into Onslaught earlier for a nice relaxing run, after helping a few friends wrap up their Pantheon clears. I had 948 kills, my friend had 883, and our blueberry had 311. Never used his heavy or super, just ran the entire run using Outbreak. I can only imagine how many more people are going to be doing the same after watching this video. 😅
For me my favorite outbreak build is chromatic, but on arc. Blind is so stupidly powerful in pve, 7 seconds of enemies doing nothing is insanly strong, even moreso then weaken. I also combine it with a disorienting/envious(make shift auto loading and also 2 in the mag for when i need it otherwise reload for voltshot/volt sholt gl from season of defiance combined with spark of beacons for a double wamy of blinding and disorienting for even more crowd control plus jolt for extra damage on bigger targets and ad control. Plus in final shape heavy weapon kills will also make a blinding explosion, which pairs perfectly with my adept wendigo with chain reaction and explosive light for even MORE blinding explosions. Pretty much this full on solar flareing all the enemies. Only downside is less sustain then the void, but if nothing can shoot you you dont need as much sustain, other then your rift and healing orbs from leg armor.
Tormentor rounds after boss, grenade melee, grenade melee, super. Do it again. You probably are throwing using weapons during that time. Just spam ability’s. Use one done dmg supers.
Half the supers can’t pop tormentor shoulders, and do reduced damage to their chest for not being precision. You wanna win the tormentor round? Get your whole team using the Forerunner
I don't tend to use Chromatic but when I do is with Arc Subclass along with Ex Diris and Blinding Grenades on Warlock for max blinding capabilities. Sure Outbreak is good here but I use Midnight Coupe with Attrition Orbs and Kinetic Tremors with the Aspects of Brilliance and Amplitude for blinding and generating many orbs. Heavy I use anything with Explosive Light i.e Blowout for me.
On stasis you can use explosive personality wave frame to proc radiant super easy bc it’s instant multi kill on red bar wave and then just stow it for auto loading.

Man I run outbreak with my strand warlock all the time. With mindspun and the wanderer. With swarmers. A hybrid suspend/threadling build with it. It just shreds
a great strand warlock build for outbreak is also just swarmers with the wanderer and weavewalk aspect with thread of evolution and threat of generation and third fragment is up for debate and threadling grenade

Solar Warlock with heal nades, Phoenix dive, heal clip/incandescent sidearm, dash and a eager edge sword ( the brave one) and the typical subclass stuff to keep rest alive. While using out break. Oh, the class item? Transverse Steps. Turns out you can keep dumping and run to fill your mag and when you finally proc rewind it gives you a full mag.
It does proc immediate ignitions, sometimes :P It has the same issue that Target Lock on 600s have, where the interaction depends on server-side netcode.
Sunshot with the mantle of battle harmony and a healing grenade and empowering rift and a couple of solar damage boosters is insane rn and is only gonna get better in fs
Me, excited, expecting to see a new better build combo to pair with Outbreak only to realize the same Chromatic build I've always been running is still the best.
Hands down outbreak is best with swammers on strand warlock. Grapple grenade The wanderer Mindspun invocation Must have fragments: Thread of evolution (buff threadlings) Thread if isolation (severs adds, works so well with out break) Other fragments: Thread of wisdom (orbs galore) Thread of generation (grenade energy) The loop: consume grapple grenade. Unload with out break. Get kills, suspend, create tangles, tangles creat threadling, meanwhile sever mites and siva mites are everywhere spreading damage and suspending everything. Armor mods to boost grenade regeneration.
Another great build is hunter with shards of galanor and outbreak. Outreak gives so much super energy that you get your super back in like 20 seconds after using it.
the fact none of these are with knucklehead radar, the only exotic helmet that also ramps up your damage as you shoot singular targets, is absolutely criminal
Chromatic with Strand and Outbreak is fun as hell. It's what i've been using and having a blast. It's got so much potential. AoE Strand explosions creating tangles, bust tangle for even more AoE, unraveling and nanites chewing through mobs, threadlings getting kills and giving more tangles, can do suspending and severing bursts... If it had Devour i would use NOTHING else 🤣 And we will not tolerate any Outbreak slander. Best pulse in the game both in damage and it just feels so good when shooting. Always been one of my top 3 fav guns. Just wish we had a kinetic type subclass to REALLY lean into it.
I had this doubt for a while now: Does surges also stack with overcharged weapons? I see people talking about using surges on weapons that have champion mods or activity surges and people still say to put on leg surge mods. Are they rigth or not?
Why not do chromatic strand warlock outbreak and shackle gernades and consume the shackle gernade every kill spawns siva explosion of strand and suspends the targets
Stasis is a lot better when you're actively using Osmiomancy to loop bleak watcher and coldsnap grenades to have several turrets up at once. Healing is a non-issue when none of the enemies can't move to shoot you.
Strand Outbreak perfected with rewind rounds Necrotic grip Weavers call and mindspun invocation Threadlings grenade Thread of evolution, thread of ascent,thread of generation,thread of continuity for duration of unravel Optional: weapon with voltshot Vesper radius swarmers thread of isolation for survivability instead of continuity Gameplay: Throw a melee to unravel, poison and to start generating threadlings, throw nade for dmg, start shooting outbreak with rewind up until you have to reload, by the time that happens throw both grenade and melee, you reloaded with the grenade, start shooting outbreak again and the loop is completed Alternative 1: Same loop but with warmers to maintain unravel uptime but no poison (have to test) Alternative 2: Use Vesper to deal extra dmg and regen rift to proc weavers call more often Downside, might not be a lot of dmg Upside, it's infinite up to the point of the melee, but nade and outbreak are infinite

It’s hunter gunslinger. For any weapon focused build it’s always hunter unless it’s a weapon of sorrow in which case it’s warlock or an lmg in which case it’s titan
Question: do shackle grenade suspend, punch from grapple grenade, freeze from coldsnap (and other non-damaging grenades) work with grenade based mods like firepower, ashes to assets and momentum transfer? Also, where can I find answer for this type of questions?
So, here's a crazy thought. How about buffing the weapons when they're actually seasonal focused...? Like this season, overload is pulse. I think they missed the mark there.

I know they are buffing stasis but they should just make whisper of rending intrinsic to stasis primaries or just primaries as a buff it feels bad giving up a fragment slot for something that feels it should just be built in

I can't even get through legend zero hr once cause if we fail one time, everybody leaves. And the mission is alot tighter on time than it was. I just want rewind rounds and don't really care about the other perks, aside from rapid hit.
Void was always going to win, because Void subclasses are weapon elemental agnostic: you can use whatever you like so long as you're making orbs and getting kills. All the other ones require the use of the same element.
Do the different Intrinsics ("Corruption Spreads I" II, III, and IV) offer increased power levels for that Intrinsic? Or do they just allow you to access the additional Perks?

Chromatic Fire causes percision final blows with a strand subclass to cause a severing burst. The only source of unravel is your melee unfortunately.

I've been rocking almost exactly the same build as the stasis build. It hurts so bad to see you not know when to throw the coldsnap.

Me, excited, expecting to see a new better build combo to pair with Outbreak only to realize the same Chromatic build I've always been running is still the best.
Hands down outbreak is best with swammers on strand warlock.

Must have fragments:
Thread of evolution (buff threadlings)
Thread if isolation (severs adds, works so well with out break)
Other fragments:
Thread of wisdom (orbs galore)
Thread of generation (grenade energy)
The loop: consume grapple grenade. Unload with out break. Get kills, suspend, create tangles, tangles creat threadling, meanwhile sever mites and siva mites are everywhere spreading damage and suspending everything.
Armor mods to boost grenade regeneration.
Outlaw with speed loaders on hunters and using decoys from the strand is phenomenal ❤
Another great build is hunter with shards of galanor and outbreak. Outreak gives so much super energy that you get your super back in like 20 seconds after using it.
Outbreak works pretty well with Swarmers and Mindspun Invocation with shackle grenade and Thread of Transmutation
the fact none of these are with knucklehead radar, the only exotic helmet that also ramps up your damage as you shoot singular targets, is absolutely criminal
i was using warlock with chromatic fire, and it worked well with arc and strand

Chromatic with Strand and Outbreak is fun as hell. It's what i've been using and having a blast. It's got so much potential. AoE Strand explosions creating tangles, bust tangle for even more AoE, unraveling and nanites chewing through mobs, threadlings getting kills and giving more tangles, can do suspending and severing bursts... If it had Devour i would use NOTHING else 🤣
And we will not tolerate any Outbreak slander. Best pulse in the game both in damage and it just feels so good when shooting. Always been one of my top 3 fav guns. Just wish we had a kinetic type subclass to REALLY lean into it.

I had this doubt for a while now:
Does surges also stack with overcharged weapons? I see people talking about using surges on weapons that have champion mods or activity surges and people still say to put on leg surge mods. Are they rigth or not?
Why not do chromatic strand warlock outbreak and shackle gernades and consume the shackle gernade every kill spawns siva explosion of strand and suspends the targets
Doesn't chromatic fire's perk take away the ability for Outbreak to spread it's nanties effectively?
Stasis is a lot better when you're actively using Osmiomancy to loop bleak watcher and coldsnap grenades to have several turrets up at once. Healing is a non-issue when none of the enemies can't move to shoot you.

Chromatic fire should give a 25% damage charge on precision kills for kinetic weapons. Or just make it so it doesn't require a precision kill.

Optional:
weapon with voltshot
Vesper radius
swarmers
thread of isolation for survivability instead of continuity
Gameplay:
Throw a melee to unravel, poison and to start generating threadlings, throw nade for dmg, start shooting outbreak with rewind up until you have to reload, by the time that happens throw both grenade and melee, you reloaded with the grenade, start shooting outbreak again and the loop is completed
Alternative 1:
Same loop but with warmers to maintain unravel uptime but no poison (have to test)
Alternative 2:
Use Vesper to deal extra dmg and regen rift to proc weavers call more often
Downside, might not be a lot of dmg
Upside, it's infinite up to the point of the melee, but nade and outbreak are infinite

It’s hunter gunslinger. For any weapon focused build it’s always hunter unless it’s a weapon of sorrow in which case it’s warlock or an lmg in which case it’s titan
Question: do shackle grenade suspend, punch from grapple grenade, freeze from coldsnap (and other non-damaging grenades) work with grenade based mods like firepower, ashes to assets and momentum transfer?
Also, where can I find answer for this type of questions?
I remember grapple punch used to be firepower and heavy handed. But now just heavy handed. Not sure about the others though.

So, here's a crazy thought. How about buffing the weapons when they're actually seasonal focused...? Like this season, overload is pulse. I think they missed the mark there.
Is it just me or does it seem like Cross mashes the F out of the mouse button when he’s shooting or supering like there isn’t a full auto option available?
There is but it ends up making bows feel incredibly funky to shoot.

I know they are buffing stasis but they should just make whisper of rending intrinsic to stasis primaries or just primaries as a buff it feels bad giving up a fragment slot for something that feels it should just be built in

I have a really nice add clear build with Stasis and Outbreak, its not the best build in the world but it's save GM runs
What does dunking the two balls in the boss room do? Where you kill the ormshe bar and it lets you collect the ball thing to dunk or whatever.
I think it ignites the boss, causing burst damage

I can't even get through legend zero hr once cause if we fail one time, everybody leaves. And the mission is alot tighter on time than it was. I just want rewind rounds and don't really care about the other perks, aside from rapid hit.

Void was always going to win, because Void subclasses are weapon elemental agnostic: you can use whatever you like so long as you're making orbs and getting kills. All the other ones require the use of the same element.
Honnestly if you face fallen ennemies, just restart... using a weapon whose sole purpose is to spam at heada is silly to spam at fallen

Whats the point of having WeeWoo Rounds if you just manually reload before it procs Cross?
Do the different Intrinsics ("Corruption Spreads I" II, III, and IV) offer increased power levels for that Intrinsic? Or do they just allow you to access the additional Perks?
Idk if you’ve gotten an answer yet, but getting the intrinsics lets you change the gun’s barrels, magazines and stocks
