Bro for real sometimes i dont understand what ppl say. This song is the best of ITZY so good and the Bsides are interesting too. I guess its a music taste issue ITZY songs isn't for everyone even I dont like some of their songs as much as other title tracks or bsides but Mafia in the morning is a banger for sure

It’s funny because my favorite is icy and my least favorite is wannabe, i guess taste really differs
Itzy is growing and showing different sides of them each comeback and since most people we're used to the itz trilogy concept where there is loud and kind of messy music they are not used to minimal sounds just like in not shy and mafia in the morning. But for me evey comeback jsut gets better and better because they are reslly showing that they can pull off any concept.

Actually, it's because of the "LYRICS" the reason why many Koreans' reactions are different from foreigners..
In many parts, it doesn't really make sense in Korean or uses kinda cringy, awkward expressions which many native speakers have resistance to. This often happens in songs written by JYP, and that's the main reason why Koreans say those things.
As a Korean fan, I really like ITZY and Mafia I.T.M, but still I can't understand what happened to some of the lyrics😅

The title of the song and the concept itself is controversial and received a lot of backlash when the teasers were released. Ryujin herself explained what the song really is about, and didn't mean the "mafia" that's going on with Italy or idk.

My ultimate fav among girl groups' song will remain WANNABE by Itzy. This sing I didn't like that much, I'm obsessed tho with Lia's parts... But the overall concept is amazing, suits the best to Itzy!!
In the morning was somethin new for them. They wernet used to it nor expecting it. Knetz who r non midzys started mocking and many k midzys who were unsure about the song started pouring their anger toward JYP. But its all ok now. Antis r still there, and many still just mock for fun but my girls r doing great as always. I, as a K midzy myself, was a little worried that people might take "mafia" as a real Italian mafia or criminal at first. Luckily people were not stupid to think so. Now its all good.

As for me song is great, as other ITZY songs. It is more hype song.
In this year ITZY give us two very different and great MV song "MITZY" (I think it has great MV and good production too) and "Mafia in the morning".
I think people need to understand experiments is great thing, with this kind of quality. It make artist to evolve.
ITZY is always "WANNABE" them self and "NOT SHY" to experiments. They will do it with ICY, because they are DALLA DALLA. :)
