Honestly, the Wolverine theory makes sense. He has a soft side for Jean Grey and is a great father figure to Jubilee and when Morph died and left, he mourned about it the most. EDIT: All of these points in the comment come from the show EXCLUSIVLY. Not from the comics.
The wolverine idea doesn't really hold water (imo) because everyone in the comic books had blue and yellow spandex Cyclops, Jean grey and beast all wore bright yellow vests. I think that it's equally possible that wolverine just doesn't want to switch his costume cuz he's ornery
His 90s Era yellow and blue costume isn't actually that far off from his costume in his first appearance, wherein he wasn't an xman, so, kinda disproves this theory. But, the fact that wolverine switched up his costume to better match his xforce teammates while he was a member confirms he's more of a team player than he lets on.

A Flinstones fan theory I came up with is that the Great Gazoo is a drug induced hallucination caused by a mutant strain of Psychoactive drugs. It's supported by how Fred's so called inventions are actually a cover up for what he's really showing and doing with Barney in the garage, his withdrawal symptoms when not using the drugs, and Gazoo's coloring matching that of peyote or cannabis, drugs that were in use in the mid to late 60s. Because when they arrive on the scene of a crime, villain attack or disaster they want people to see them! Criminals know the hero is here? They panic and get sloppy. Villains destroying things and the hero arrives, the villain focuses on hero and civilians can flee to safety. Disaster? Victims notice the hero and follow their instuctions or call to them for help. The Bright eye catching costume is a superhero trope and Wolverine is a superhero. He can take what the bad guys dish out, civilians can't. Wolverine's costume is not to protect teammates, they ALL dress to draw attention because they are heroes.

I don't think the fact that Logen cares about other will destroy my childhood, especially if it seen often enough that he does that elsewhere. Because when they arrive on the scene of a crime, villain attack or disaster they want people to see them! Criminals know the hero is here? They panic and get sloppy. Villains destroying things and the hero arrives, the villain focuses on hero and civilians can flee to safety. Disaster? Victims notice the hero and follow their instuctions or call to them for help. The Bright eye catching costume is a superhero trope and Wolverine is a superhero. He can take what the bad guys dish out, civilians can't. Wolverine's costume is not to protect teammates, they ALL dress to draw attention because they are heroes.

I have a Loud House/Scooby-Doo theory. Lisa Loud is adopted and is actually the biological child of Shaggy and Velma. They didn’t have time to raise a child since they are always chasing after criminals and so when they accidentally had a baby (Lisa) they put her in an orphanage where she was then adopted by the Loud family.
