Yesssssss! This is how it should’ve been. I was expecting this type of cutscenes in Sonic Forces, but once again we were disappointed by SEGA. Tails’ character development was amazing until Sonic Team decided that jokes like “Baldy McNosehair” was more important than the stories in the games. Forces is a joke for trying to be serious when the series has taken a completely different direction. You nailed everyone’s personalities and even put Sonic being actually tortured unlike the game. Congratulations to you, my friend. That was one of the best animations I’ve seen not only for the characters’ movement, but also it was the greatest representation of what Sonic Forces needed to be.
This video was exactly what should have happen in the game i think sometimes the videos we make are better then the ones in the games it self so keep up the good work my friend.
Well I think it would be better when Tails fights Chaos on his own without Sonic-its time that he get some spotlight like the good old times- but this video is so much better then the real from Sonic Forces.

I grew up with a PS2 disc called Sonic Mega Collection Plus, and so most of the games I played were the Genesis and Game Gear games, which didn't really have much story, but the version of him on TV I grew up with was from Sonic X. That version of Tails was a mechanical genius, tough fighter who saved Sonic on the regular and not the other way around, and an awesome fighter pilot who had his own combination of the X-wing from Star Wars and the mechs from Macross. I loved that version of tails, but there is another version of the character from the older cartoon called "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", which today is most famous for The quote "SnooPINGASusalISee?" this version of Tails was a useless annoying Crybaby who would leap into Sonic's arms Scooby Doo style after a good thundercrack. I had never understood the Tails haters until I saw that show, If I grew up with that version I'd hate him too.
I love the swap in character roles when Classic Sonic pops up. Sonic takes care of Tails, usually, but when Tails is better suited in the world, he becomes Sonic's caretaker. I can also imagine that when Modern Sonic and Tails' meet, Tails is going to have a hard time not hovering protectively over him as well. Just love the role swap!
This how Tails should've been in Sonic Forces. In fact Sonic Forces really did mess up the cast, not only that but the game play was short, and they butchered Classic Sonic. At I mean I don't mind the OC's, but replacing Tails and Knuckles as sidekicks is just not a good thing to do when Tails and Knuckles have always been through Sonic's Adventure. Hopefully there's a Sonic Adventure remake and if that ever happens, maybe the creators will finally remember. But then again Sonic Cannons are always confusing.

This is *exactly* what Tails *should’ve been like* in Sonic Forces along with his story and Knuckles’ story. I did not know what the game developers were thinking when they made Sonic Forces. When ruining the gameplay, character development, and destroying Tails’ personality makes me wanna hate Forces for any given reason. I guess they never learned what Tails and Knuckles have been through with their own stories in Sonic Adventure. I remember where Tails went up against Chaos 4 and obliterated the living crap out of him, but I don’t think the developers remembered it. I definitely prefer Mania over Forces, but if there is ever a Sonic Adventure remake, I hope it’s everything what we wanted from the original version. This video means a lot to me. @@Kirilltv818 Sega have more recently said there is no Classic dimension, Classic Sonic is from the past, and Sonic Mania and Superstars are now set before Sonic Adventure instead. Also, Tails does remember Classic Sonic in Sonic Forces. And while Tails hasn't fought Chaos alone, I think he's fought stronger foes than Chaos 0 alone.

Logan Pettit You know having Tails be playable but also have Classic Sonic follow him in stages like Tails followed Sonic in Sonic 2 would've been interesting. Tails by this point in time has a lot more experience than Classic Sonic and should know better what to do, it makes sense for him to lead here and we could've gotten some interesting interactions and character growth with Tails having to lead Sonic like that.

YES! And at 3 minutes would have been a perfect time for a level to introduce us to the Player Avatar's abilities. Tails starts the level by saying, "This Wisp Gun is experimental, but you're injured and I can't risk wrenching your ankle by flying" Get the first impossible to miss Wisp. "Alright I've overclocked it, it should have all its capabilities unlocked" At the end, just before the resting scene, Sonic Team could have then added a little extra with the gun in pieces on the side, sparking, to imply that it overloaded and why the player avatar doesn't get a fully souped up super wisp gun off the bat You should do the entire game and do it justice
This was amazing. One thing I was actually considering for a few months now, was rebuilding Sonic Forces from the ground up. This video inspired me to want to make it a reality. I like the way you adjusted the story. Maybe in the eventual future when I'm more along the development, maybe I could have you re-write the story, if it's not too much trouble. I just thought I''d ask since you're writing is excellent.
More like I want to fix Sonic Forces and make it more like what want it. Story and gameplay. Kinda like what the game should've been. A story with more depth, but not too edgy like Shadow the Hedgehog, or too cringy like most modern sonic games are these days. The gameplay will be an attempt at mixing the boost-to-win and the adventure style of gameplay. It'll take a long time, but I hope to make the game that we wanted a year ago.

Wow, that's brilliant work on Tails. Stepping up to the plate and fighting back, saving Classic, frustrated he couldn't fix Omega correctly, bonding with Classic. And poor Modern Sonic... he looks like he really has been torchered.
I am so excited to finally see this ! The wait was totally worth it ! Oh boy where shall I just start ? XD I dont want to say "this is how Sonic Forces should have been". But I just love this ! Chaos looks so great, the textures - I love how shiny classic Sonic looks when he's wet - the fight, the emotions and bonding between classic Sonic and Tails. And the music and sound effects ! They are perfect ! You really keep improving. Keep it up ! ;D I really love what you did with Tails voice when Sonic was about to drown. It makes it really way more realistic. That moment was so unexpected and a real shocker. I could really feel Tails emotions, the fear and panic. Even though I was wondering if Chaos was really defeated or not after classic Sonic showed up. This really seemed too easy for me. (Idk why I find this so funny XD I just love the Mania reference and how "random" it is XD) This really got me and made me even scream "Sonic !", wanting to step in action, not gonna lie X'D Same with the torture scene. I expected something when I saw the Death Egg but...When I saw Sonic....Oh boy ! The first I could think of was: "What have they done to you ?!" But seeying what happens next... To quote another infamous hedgehog: "You never cease to surprise me." XD It is always so thrilling and intriguing to see a new video of yours, not knowing what happens next. Sonic really looks like he's been tortured, ....broken. Literally fighting for his survival, not knowing how long he can keep this up and is gonna make it - or IF he's gonna make it. This made me even more alert and feel bad for him. It seems like he's starting to lose hope - Sonic, the symbol, the light of hope. Oh... I'd really like to see more of this and go deeper into what has happened to him during those 6 months. Back to Tails and classic Sonic: The fight vs Chaos we know from the preview is also great ! No need to say how much cooler Tails is here, actually fighting back and doing something, trying to stand up for himself and to help. (I get that Tails feels guilty, scared and helpless because he coudnt help Sonic and nobody knows if he's still alive. I just wish Sonic Forces would have also shown this, what's going on with Tails, how much he, Sonic and the others "suffer" and what happened when Sonic was gone)The music really gets me pumped up for this fight everytime XD Again, the sound effects are top notch, especially Sonic with his leg. It really makes me hiss through my teeth every time out of worry and pain, just by hearing it >< It's really such moments that always make me want to help (I know I always get way too emotional and deep in such stories) The interaction between classic Sonic and Tails is just too sweet. I just love seeing Tails trying to make up and help classic Sonic because he wasnt able to help modern Sonic. I really enjoy him being the big brother every once in a while. And also wondered already back then to the time of Sonic Generations what classic Sonic must be thinking about seeing his own future. And if we will see classic Tails and Eggma- I mean Robotnik again (I really believed, heard and had some theories that time travel (or other dimensions) will be included)) I can really relate with every time more and more to Tails, when it comes to Sonic Forces (well...both the offical game and fan stories, especially here - and I never did that before ^^" Like I said I understand how Tails must feel and what he has been through, I just wish Sonic Forces had shown us and executed it better) Tails, a super smart technology nerd, best friend and side kick who's trying to be a hero like his best friend and big bro, stand up for his own and make up for his mistake. But at least I try to prove myself with every time like Tails -no matter what others say; even if it gets harder and harder; I am just so sick n tired of it- I am rather the silent but attentive listener and seeker, who thinks carefully before she speaks and prefers to do things her own way and to put matters in her own hands. I love the swap in character roles when Classic Sonic pops up. Sonic takes care of Tails, usually, but when Tails is better suited in the world, he becomes Sonic's caretaker. I can also imagine that when Modern Sonic and Tails' meet, Tails is going to have a hard time not hovering protectively over him as well. Just love the role swap!
I like how Classic wasn't much of a talker, especially since he's Sonic when he was a kid.
This how Tails should've been in Sonic Forces. In fact Sonic Forces really did mess up the cast, not only that but the game play was short, and they butchered Classic Sonic. At I mean I don't mind the OC's, but replacing Tails and Knuckles as sidekicks is just not a good thing to do when Tails and Knuckles have always been through Sonic's Adventure. Hopefully there's a Sonic Adventure remake and if that ever happens, maybe the creators will finally remember. But then again Sonic Cannons are always confusing.

It's sad when fans know WAY more about these characters then Sega and Sonic Team.
If you played Sonic Adventure 1 & 2. Sega/Sonic Team did knew what they were doing back then with Tails.

Defeated Eggman & stopped a rocket bomb from destroying Station Square.
Adventure 2
Defeated Eggman even when thinking Sonic died from the capsule explosion.
Blame the Happy Tree Friends writers that nerfed Tails in Forces.

This is *exactly* what Tails *should’ve been like* in Sonic Forces along with his story and Knuckles’ story. I did not know what the game developers were thinking when they made Sonic Forces. When ruining the gameplay, character development, and destroying Tails’ personality makes me wanna hate Forces for any given reason. I guess they never learned what Tails and Knuckles have been through with their own stories in Sonic Adventure. I remember where Tails went up against Chaos 4 and obliterated the living crap out of him, but I don’t think the developers remembered it. I definitely prefer Mania over Forces, but if there is ever a Sonic Adventure remake, I hope it’s everything what we wanted from the original version.

Also, Tails does remember Classic Sonic in Sonic Forces.
And while Tails hasn't fought Chaos alone, I think he's fought stronger foes than Chaos 0 alone.

This was awesome! And, made more sense in context of what happened in Forces and Tails as, well, being Tails.

Logan Pettit You know having Tails be playable but also have Classic Sonic follow him in stages like Tails followed Sonic in Sonic 2 would've been interesting. Tails by this point in time has a lot more experience than Classic Sonic and should know better what to do, it makes sense for him to lead here and we could've gotten some interesting interactions and character growth with Tails having to lead Sonic like that.

YES! And at 3 minutes would have been a perfect time for a level to introduce us to the Player Avatar's abilities. Tails starts the level by saying, "This Wisp Gun is experimental, but you're injured and I can't risk wrenching your ankle by flying"
Get the first impossible to miss Wisp. "Alright I've overclocked it, it should have all its capabilities unlocked"
At the end, just before the resting scene, Sonic Team could have then added a little extra with the gun in pieces on the side, sparking, to imply that it overloaded and why the player avatar doesn't get a fully souped up super wisp gun off the bat

This was amazing. One thing I was actually considering for a few months now, was rebuilding Sonic Forces from the ground up. This video inspired me to want to make it a reality. I like the way you adjusted the story. Maybe in the eventual future when I'm more along the development, maybe I could have you re-write the story, if it's not too much trouble. I just thought I''d ask since you're writing is excellent.
More like I want to fix Sonic Forces and make it more like what want it. Story and gameplay. Kinda like what the game should've been. A story with more depth, but not too edgy like Shadow the Hedgehog, or too cringy like most modern sonic games are these days. The gameplay will be an attempt at mixing the boost-to-win and the adventure style of gameplay. It'll take a long time, but I hope to make the game that we wanted a year ago.

I dont want to say "this is how Sonic Forces should have been". But I just love this ! Chaos looks so great, the textures - I love how shiny classic Sonic looks when he's wet - the fight, the emotions and bonding between classic Sonic and Tails. And the music and sound effects ! They are perfect ! You really keep improving. Keep it up ! ;D
I really love what you did with Tails voice when Sonic was about to drown. It makes it really way more realistic. That moment was so unexpected and a real shocker. I could really feel Tails emotions, the fear and panic. Even though I was wondering if Chaos was really defeated or not after classic Sonic showed up. This really seemed too easy for me. (Idk why I find this so funny XD I just love the Mania reference and how "random" it is XD) This really got me and made me even scream "Sonic !", wanting to step in action, not gonna lie X'D
Same with the torture scene. I expected something when I saw the Death Egg but...When I saw Sonic....Oh boy ! The first I could think of was: "What have they done to you ?!" But seeying what happens next... To quote another infamous hedgehog: "You never cease to surprise me." XD It is always so thrilling and intriguing to see a new video of yours, not knowing what happens next. Sonic really looks like he's been tortured, ....broken. Literally fighting for his survival, not knowing how long he can keep this up and is gonna make it - or IF he's gonna make it. This made me even more alert and feel bad for him. It seems like he's starting to lose hope - Sonic, the symbol, the light of hope. Oh... I'd really like to see more of this and go deeper into what has happened to him during those 6 months.
Back to Tails and classic Sonic: The fight vs Chaos we know from the preview is also great ! No need to say how much cooler Tails is here, actually fighting back and doing something, trying to stand up for himself and to help. (I get that Tails feels guilty, scared and helpless because he coudnt help Sonic and nobody knows if he's still alive. I just wish Sonic Forces would have also shown this, what's going on with Tails, how much he, Sonic and the others "suffer" and what happened when Sonic was gone)The music really gets me pumped up for this fight everytime XD
Again, the sound effects are top notch, especially Sonic with his leg. It really makes me hiss through my teeth every time out of worry and pain, just by hearing it >< It's really such moments that always make me want to help (I know I always get way too emotional and deep in such stories) The interaction between classic Sonic and Tails is just too sweet. I just love seeing Tails trying to make up and help classic Sonic because he wasnt able to help modern Sonic. I really enjoy him being the big brother every once in a while. And also wondered already back then to the time of Sonic Generations what classic Sonic must be thinking about seeing his own future. And if we will see classic Tails and Eggma- I mean Robotnik again (I really believed, heard and had some theories that time travel (or other dimensions) will be included))
I can really relate with every time more and more to Tails, when it comes to Sonic Forces (well...both the offical game and fan stories, especially here - and I never did that before ^^" Like I said I understand how Tails must feel and what he has been through, I just wish Sonic Forces had shown us and executed it better) Tails, a super smart technology nerd, best friend and side kick who's trying to be a hero like his best friend and big bro, stand up for his own and make up for his mistake. Yep....sounds somehow pretty familiar to me -(where have I seen this version of Tails before ?)- Man, your video really gives me a lot of new ideas for my fanfic. And that "you're not much of a talker" scene is also very relateable and my favourite besides the torture scene (I cant stop watching that one). Sonic being hurt when Tails said that.... this could totally be me. I've always been the quiet type of person, especially lately. What most people dont like and see as something bad -ok basically everybody does; they say I cant survive in this world if I...just stay the way I am. without even asking why I am so silent all the time; it does really hurt and pushes me only further away to say the truth- It's just who I am. I learned very recently from another brand new also silent character that you dont have to be loud, outgoing and part of the group to be a hero.
I just see myself so much in that one short, but meaningfull scene. In both Tails and classic Sonic. I am not that much of a "actions speak louder than words" type of person, like I maybe would like to be, like Sonic. But at least I try to prove myself with every time like Tails -no matter what others say; even if it gets harder and harder; I am just so sick n tired of it-
I am rather the silent but attentive listener and seeker, who thinks carefully before she speaks and prefers to do things her own way and to put matters in her own hands. Even though I have to learn now that I cant do everything alone the hard way ^^"
