Synopsis:
Hong Kong superstar Lau Wai-chi (Andy Lau) has been in the film industry for forty years and has always aspired to win a film award. He decides to team up with director Lin Hao (Ning Hao) to make a film about the countryside in order to win international fame at a film festival. In order to do so, Lau goes deep into the countryside to experience life, personally solicits investment, and refuses to use a stunt double, which triggers a series of ridiculous farces that are hilarious and show how the entertainment industry is full of people.
With a very special appearance by Jackie Chan! 😉
