why such harsh comments? for goodness sake, forget "8 days a week"...she sounded amazing here. if you say she can't sing, then I'd love to see you do better. her voice has an incredible tone to it...i don't understand why not many like her.

I read a blog on this thing that was so funny. They said next week she is going to sing a bluegrass version of "America, the Beautiful." AHAHAHA that cracked me up
lol. i cant believe shes still in this thing. i actually dont think she has a bad voice but a lot of people just seem to not like her. i do agree with simon. best song choice ever! lol.

I am no fan but, she can sing and she sings WELL. If she can't, she would've not been in the top 24. I guess people is "bashing" her because they think their favorite contestant got voted off because of her. -_- She did great here, and this was the best song a contestant has ever chosen in idol history. I still can't understand why she was in the bottom 3 this week. It was her week, she did great. She will go home after sometime anyway.
Ryan said during the top 5: "You know more about these contestants than ever before" YEAH RIGHT! If anything we saw very limited footage and learned little about what they do outside of singing. They were great talents but like, during season 3 their intro videos were minutes long, these were 30 seconds. It tells us nothing. They rarely even showed parents in the audience and other family/friends. I don't remember ever seeing Kristy's family. I just think we ought to get to know more about them

FYI, the reason she sang this was because her father served and is a veteran, and her sister incouraged her to sing it. If she had onyl sung it as a ploy to get votes, she wouldn't be singing it on tour. Get the facts straight before determining motive.
Whoever said it's a popularity competition.. Umm.. yeah, it is.. What else would it be.. They get popular by singing.. They create a fanbase.. And as the weeks go on, Kristy is gaining more and more fans as she gets better and better!
