If the song was about a romantic relationship I would think the same, but because it's a fan song, it really shows how much these boys care about their fans. for the whole album, it's like a journey from start to finish. they talk about worries in darling, in hot it's like facing the sun carelessly, don quixote with the journey how like the protagonist faces society, in march as you mentioned it is an anthem like continuing the journey towards the sun. it continues in the middle like having the shadows and facing their fears and ending with the victory for ash. that's why it's really good to listen to the whole album like how they placed it in order because it really tells the story the artists want to convey. for me as well this is competing for my top SVT album

I usually don’t like the “I can’t live without you” type of songs either, but I think if you leave me is from the perspective of seventeen as the group about carats, not about two individuals in a romantic relationship. And realistically it’s true, seventeen as the group can only exist as long as carats are there. If there are no carats, there is no seventeen. They also mentioned how scared they were during the pandemic when they couldn’t meet carats and thought they’d leave. And since the boys like being seventeen so much and it’s everything to them (remember the inner shadow/I’m not svt anymore thing), it probably would really feel like the end of the world to them. It’s definitely a bit dramatic, but I get it ~
I loved the color duo of the HOT live stage but also them singling out Seungkwan with that amazing pink jacket. Minghao had his time with the mesh shirt 😂 He said (I believe on weverse) that the mesh shirt was not happening on a live stage. He was like ‘k, we are passing this to someone else’
Dino is an outstanding vocalist in the group. Just like Taemin, he can handle singing and dancing without any problems. He got to shine more in this album because his vocals keeps improving so its quite reasonable that they utilize his vocals well.

I believe after resigning there must be more freedoms with line distribution. I read several places that as a whole this album has a 2% margin. Each song has roughly 7ish%. I think those exaggerated expressions (not wanting to live) are used a lot even in everyday conversation. I understand what you said about the lyrics for If You Leave Me. It may come across as somewhat negative for people who don't know that it is a song for Carats. The members have said that it was hard for them to perform during the pandemic since they gain energy from Carats cheering them in person. They would like Seventeen and Carats to always be together. It may sound cliche but you can see the passion, effort and sincerity in everything that they do and how they always want to be the best for Carats. I feel like that part of the lyrics is just a metaphor of the relationship between Seventeen and Carats - if not for love and support that they receive from Carats, they would not have renewed or they would cease to exist as a group. I really respect your opinion about the lyrics even if you still feel the same way after understanding the background of the song. I appreciate your honesty and I'm glad Carats are very understanding as well. Though there are a few toxic Carats, it's really a very small number specially when compared to toxic stans from other fandoms. Most of those who comment on Seventeen reactions are very respectful.

Around a year or so ago, there was a K-pop line distribution analysis. SVT had the most even distribution but China line and Dino had slightly less lines in their previous releases. I wonder if they are trying to make up for it cause they do seem to have more lines now.

Not wanting to live without someone is not the same as not being able to, and one person leaving you should not be a reason for you to stop living. This whole album is incredible, I love all the songs. My favourites though, are Don Quixote and Shadow. Btw. Your "Oh, good, they're all wearing clothing" at the beginning of the HOT performance made me laugh, in a oh-honey-you-have-no-idea-what's-coming kind of way. 😂
Shadow is my favourite from the album, I know it would be since the medley came out. And I think the style is so recognisably Dino too, I don't even know how to explain it but having heard his other solo songs there's a sound that reminds me of them in Shadow. And the lyrics are so pretty it really makes me emotional especially the Oh I know you're a part of me too and how it's belted it's so powerful
Cowboys are kinda seen like adventurers, roaming the Wild West on the back of their horses, living their life how they want to (blame it on Hollywood). So March is proclaiming their determination to continue going forward on their own path, "like a Cowboy".

I understand what you said about the lyrics for If You Leave Me. It may come across as somewhat negative for people who don't know that it is a song for Carats. The members have said that it was hard for them to perform during the pandemic since they gain energy from Carats cheering them in person. They would like Seventeen and Carats to always be together. It may sound cliche but you can see the passion, effort and sincerity in everything that they do and how they always want to be the best for Carats. I feel like that part of the lyrics is just a metaphor of the relationship between Seventeen and Carats - if not for love and support that they receive from Carats, they would not have renewed or they would cease to exist as a group.
I really respect your opinion about the lyrics even if you still feel the same way after understanding the background of the song. I appreciate your honesty and I'm glad Carats are very understanding as well. Though there are a few toxic Carats, it's really a very small number specially when compared to toxic stans from other fandoms. Most of those who comment on Seventeen reactions are very respectful.

Around a year or so ago, there was a K-pop line distribution analysis. SVT had the most even distribution but China line and Dino had slightly less lines in their previous releases. I wonder if they are trying to make up for it cause they do seem to have more lines now.

Shadow is my favourite from the album, I know it would be since the medley came out. And I think the style is so recognisably Dino too, I don't even know how to explain it but having heard his other solo songs there's a sound that reminds me of them in Shadow. And the lyrics are so pretty it really makes me emotional especially the Oh I know you're a part of me too and how it's belted it's so powerful
Cowboys are kinda seen like adventurers, roaming the Wild West on the back of their horses, living their life how they want to (blame it on Hollywood). So March is proclaiming their determination to continue going forward on their own path, "like a Cowboy".
