This performance was not for Celine Dion's birthday but was part of a show that celebrated her music. Jeremy was one of the featured performers. This was the 2nd of two performances that night in 2015. The show's music director/producer recently uploaded the earlier 7 pm performance to TH-cam (on March 30/2020) as a alternate version with a different camera angle. In the video's description section, he wrote about how the whole production came to pass. Reading that, you might develop an even greater appreciation of Jeremy Jordan's talents.

omg yes we always need more Jeremy reactions. He's absolutely phenomenal. He does write his own music, but he hasn't released an album yet, still working on it. But he did perform some of his songs ( not good enough, undertow, revelation).For a slightly different Jeremy content you could check him singing Over the rainbow/Home medley or he sings Bring him home without a mic beautifully, opera style. Or you could check out him singing with Pasadena symphony. Seeing him sing in a more classical way is fantastic, his range is crazy. And well his more famous videos are also definitely worth checking out : Don't speak, his Sam Smith's cover, Santa Fe, Run away with me. He's great in everything he does
Jeremy's reaction to the key change always gets me (baby baby...NO!...BABY BABY...). I'd recommend listening to his "Don't Speak" from Broadway Loves Gwen Stefani. He sounds incredible as usual, but he adds his hilarious spin on it as well.

It was actually written by Jim Steinman and while Meat Loaf wanted to record it for years, Steinman wanted it to be a female song and actually won a court movement preventing him from recording it. It was originally recorded by Pandora's Box and then Celine's cover made it famous. Meat Loaf did eventually record it afterwards.
He’s such a good actor and singer like he knows how to have fun and be joking while still absolutely killing a Celine Dion song!! He’s the best.

I think my favorite Jeremy Jordan performance is Losing My Mind. It is just amazing! I also love the musical The Last Five Years, which he was in.
