Don’t compare something meaningless such as Meditation with Namaaz. Namaaz is more superior and a way of connection to Allah while Meditation is all surrounded by your thoughts.

I think you have a very vague idea about meditation and it's pretty much evident that your knowledge is through what's app forwards. Meditation is not lingering with thoughts , a certain point in meditation will make you thoughtless and it takes you beyond the god so namaaz is always inferior to meditation. In namaaz there is no guarantee that God is paying attention to you or listening to you , there is no guarantee that your prayers are even reaching god but in meditation it so happens that you can control your own mind and body which will make you powerful in the current world and even in the eternal space . Meditation is more scientific where namaaz is a blind belief

Keep in mind that Aisha(Ra) was the one who passed down his teaching the most. 13th century scholar Ibn al-Qayyim writes: The woman is equal to the man in truthfulness, honesty, and piety; otherwise, if it is feared that she will forget or misremember, she is strengthened with another like herself. That makes them stronger than a single man or the likes of him. There is no question that the benefit of the doubt given to the testimony of Umm Darda and Umm ‘Atiyyah is stronger than the benefit of the doubt given to a single man without them or the likes of them. Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3883[2] According to Imam al-Dhahabi, not a single female narrator of hadiths had her account questioned, unlike many men. Quran is written like a poetry. The words used by Allah are so poetic and beautifully selected which are not used in normal spoken arabic. So thats why during recitation and adhan, we use melodius tunes. Subhanallah.

I am so amazed hearing Norah Fatehi speaking about fasting and prayer like this... I don't like her at all i hate her especially because of her job and her relationship with Sikhs such as Angad Bedi, Varinder Singh Ghuman and all that and I my blood boils when I hear muslim girls having relationship with hindu or other non muslim boys, and Norah angers me more because she's from Morocco but the way described what she thinks of Salah and Sawm in Persian and our Urdu language Sawm is called Roza and Salah is called Namaz May Allah guide her, in this age especially when atheism is rampant even praying once or twice a week can be praiseworthy action instead of not praying at all, there are also those people are not in haram job but they don't care much about sawm and salah and Norah made happy l, she's in a country called India which is perfect for Islamic teachings where Tablighi Jamaat is born and in active which is largest Islamic preaching organization she knows Hindi too, it's a perfect time, Tablighis are also active in Arab world and made many people to pray Salah and established madrasas, Malaysia is the Islamic because of them and the reason why Islam survived in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is due to Tabligi Jamaat... Recently an Indian actress Sana Khan quit showbiz and married Mufti Anas Syed who is associated with Tablighi jamaat and he's a sayyid as well... I think you have a very vague idea about meditation and it's pretty much evident that your knowledge is through what's app forwards. Meditation is not lingering with thoughts , a certain point in meditation will make you thoughtless and it takes you beyond the god so namaaz is always inferior to meditation. In namaaz there is no guarantee that God is paying attention to you or listening to you , there is no guarantee that your prayers are even reaching god but in meditation it so happens that you can control your own mind and body which will make you powerful in the current world and even in the eternal space . Meditation is more scientific where namaaz is a blind belief

@hindu3048 please complete your knowledge first before assuming. This verse is about debt and transactions of financial matters. At that time women were not usually involved in financial aspects of things. The Prophet (pbuh) said that a man's witness is equal to the witness of two women so that the other woman can remind her if she forgets (as they were not usually familiar with that stuff so it was likely that they would forget). And keep in mind that a written statement was more preferable than anything.
He never said that a woman's mind is deficient.
Keep in mind that Aisha(Ra) was the one who passed down his teaching the most.

The woman is equal to the man in truthfulness, honesty, and piety; otherwise, if it is feared that she will forget or misremember, she is strengthened with another like herself. That makes them stronger than a single man or the likes of him. Prayer is about fulfilling your desires.
Meditation is about distancing yourself from desires.

Beer Biceps, if you want to know more about Islam, its philosophy and practices please bring in personalities like Mufti Menk, or Dr. Haifa Younis, Nouman Ali Khan, Omar Suleiman etc. I don't mean to say that Nora did a poor job at explaining stuff, she did great! Ma sha Allah, may God reward her immensely for this ameen. But just like you had invited Sister Shivani for insights into Hinduism, in the same way you'd get a way deeper understanding of Islam from a scholar of the religion God willing.

About the focus while Namaz. She articulated the answer correctly. It's hard for us humans to focus on just one thing especially on this fast moving. multi tasking - digital era. Like she said, everytime we realise we have drifted, we bring back the focus to towards Allah.
