I'm afraid there is not much you can do (unless you know how to fix this in the kernel). Keep an eye on this thread. bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-signed-hwe-6.2/+bug/2034477
That bug has status Confirmed, but it has not been assigned to a developer. Keep an eye on that thread to see when it gets status fixed and see which kernel version it will be released.

@@LivingLinux thanks for feedback i am looking for a laptop which has a backlit keyboard and good battery life and functionality. I think i m gonna go with ideapad 5 with ryzen 5500u and 16gb RAM.
@@canerarslan9754 Well, I opted for a newer processor (AMD 6000 series or higher), to get AV1 hardware decoding. Unless you don't mind to do it with software decoding (more power consumption).
You didn’t ask but a used Lenovo ThinkPad X250 sells for like €100 and a used Lenovo ThinkPad P50 (workstation class laptop w/ discrete graphics) sells for about €500. Way better value for money IMHO
Tysm now I do definetly know usb c works as charging too
I"ve installed linux ubuntu 22.04 in this laptop model. However my touchpad and keyboard aren"t working. Do you know what to do in this case?

lol
does it have a backlit keyboard ?
I don't think this one has it. I no longer have it in my possession, so I can't check. But when you order on the Lenovo website, it can be added.

Different horses for different courses. I wanted a chip with AV1 hardware accelerated decoding. And that P50 is way too heavy as a laptop.
6th gen Intel doesn’t sound too good for 2023 though, especially for €500.
they call it slim but it doesn't look slim ha 3:58
It's mostly advertised as IPS here. I wasn't impressed either. But I guess the non-Slim models are even thicker.
