This is such an important topic, especially as we get older. My father really instilled in me an overall sense of health awareness, and as I've gotten older, I've become more health conscious. As Reno mentions, a lot of my current health habits have become second-nature to me. I have taken pieces of advice from not only my father but also my current team of physicians, as regards cardinal health tenets. For instance, remaining active in different ways. Like trying to get 150 minutes of aerobic exercise per week, ensuring I get 100 grams of protein a week (for males), and getting exposure to sunshine for vitamin D. I have actually noted a bit of weight loss, on this diet promoting intake of protein. I also try to remain socially active by seeing family and friends on a regular basis. Finally, getting a good night's sleep has become more important as I age. Hobbies, such as gardening, also help sustain my emotional and physical health. And when your body is in decent shape, everything else seems to follow suit. As far as unconventional ways to enjoy one's body are concerned, and as was mentioned in this episode, I have actually taken a video of myself in the past while I masturbated. I have also held onto to photos of attractive guys and masturbated to them. Mostly, though, my imagination is my masturbation tool, as I visualize images I have seen in print or online, as well as those my own imagination has furnished me.
Thank you for sharing your journey towards health and well-being. It's inspiring to hear how you've integrated valuable advice from your father and medical team into your lifestyle. Your commitment to staying active, maintaining a balanced diet, nurturing social connections, and prioritizing sleep is commendable. Your openness about personal experiences also adds depth to the conversation. Keep taking care of yourself, both physically and emotionally! 💪😊
I am a dancer, I took lessons for years in uni, I stopped after that for many years and I always missed it. But las year I not only came back to take regular classes, but they are even queer groups. So I not only am doing again something that I love with my body, but in a great way for my mind too. The community is so warm, I am making new friends, and I can be as feminine as I want to, wi can lead or follow if I want to. And well, self pleasure is always awesome. I love having sex with different people, but no one knows me better than myself, so I really enjoyed that part of the conversation a lot too!
That's fantastic to hear! Returning to something you're passionate about, like dancing, can bring so much joy and fulfillment. It's wonderful that you've found a supportive and inclusive community where you can express yourself freely. Self-pleasure is indeed a vital aspect of self-discovery and empowerment. Keep embracing your passions and celebrating your journey to self-love and expression! 💃🏳🌈😊

We definitely agree with you! The bond between gay men is truly special and powerful. Together, we create a vibrant and supportive community. Here's to lifelong friendships and shared experiences! 🌈

Definitely! Building connections and organizing are crucial steps towards creating meaningful change and community support. Let's shift our focus towards empowering dialogues and collective action.💪🌟
Perfectly said! Our unity is our strength. Let's continue empowering each other to create positive change and celebrate our diversity. Together, we can accomplish amazing things! 🏳🌈
Taking care of my body means covering it from neck to foot. Nobody needs to be subjected to the horror under my clothes. It's a nice idea that our bodies aren't who we are but being a gay man, I know this to be as far from the truth as it can be. Other people make instant, and often harsh, judgments about the vessel we travel this horrible existence in. It very much is how we're perceived. The evidence is all around us. 🤣 I wondered how long it would take for this to come around to sex. I gave it ten minutes. I'm a little surprised it took fourteen minutes, instead.
Thank you for sharing your perspective, it is deeply insightful. It's unfortunate how society often fixates on outward appearances, but your self-awareness and honesty are truly admirable. Keep embracing your authenticity! 🌟
@@GayMenGoingDeeper societal fixation on outward appearance is a constant reminder of our status as animals. Birds focus on outer appearance to find suitable mates. It's not a bad thing, it's just reality. For all the high-browed notions of looking beyond the outside, it's how animals are. Just like not every bird will be picked to mate, not every human will be picked, at all. Enjoy your plumage, if you have it.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's important to explore and understand our own boundaries when it comes to self-expression. Your honesty adds depth to the conversation.🏳🌈
We love your humor and perspective!😄Age is just a number, and clearly, you're rocking it! It's all about embracing every stage of life with a smile. Keep living life to the fullest! ❤
2024 is the year of the dragon, just something to consider, we're all managing returning to a post-covid world as a collective which means breakups, new jobs, meeting new people and approaching the world in a wiser more guarded way but in a way that's done with no bullshit, it's very hard actually but we can do it, fitting with the dragon theme of emerging. Can tell that one of the hosts, Michael is struggling right now, and is continuing to host these programs (which required tremendous willpower). I don't know the situation exactly, or have a solution, but just want you to know that you're obviously a very sweet guy, and always have the best advice. 2023 was hell for a lot of us, but I really think 2024 will be better for everyone.
Thank you for your thoughtful words and for recognizing the challenges we're all navigating in this post-pandemic world. It means a lot to hear your encouragement. While it's true that times can be tough, your optimism for the year ahead is truly inspiring. Let's all strive to approach life with honesty and resilience, embracing the emerging opportunities with the spirit of the dragon. Wishing you strength and positivity in your journey ahead! 🐉💪
