Great video! Takes me back to when I lived in London Colney in the 1970s and travelled to St Albans regularly. I was always on the 84 which was red in those days. Lovely to see it in this nice green livery!
Great video! Nice to see FJ57 CYZ in that retro livery on the 84 although I'd assume that the 3 B9TLs will be withdrawn from the 84 with the Enviro 400s being introduced. I could be wrong though
Thanks! The B9TLs, along with other double decks in their fleet, were reported as being used temporarily on the 84 until the Enviro400s were ready, but most if not all of those required are now repainted and in use, so it may be that the B9TLs will remain mixed in? Alternatively as they are in green livery and newer than the other buses used mainly on Herts school routes, they could be first choice when no E400s are available? I'm afraid I don't see the route regularly enough to observe which is more likely to be the case.
So would this mean the normal allocation is now four buses from E35-7 and the B9TLs (WVL4 and two of those E400s having side ads for the route applied)? Or are they used on other services such that there'd be a pool of more than 5 to 6 vehicles? E59 is another Enviro400 in green, though I'm unsure if any more of those in the Herts fleet have been repainted.
Wow, what expect of this to find a green bus... What kind to create look like a green bus developed of this private service it is. Cool, video, mate! (Oh dear, what a loss for words!) 😎

Great content, as you always produce. Nice to see St Albans, somewhere I haven’t visited for quite som time.
Thank you!

@@astock5000 I hope they do along with the B7TLs. As good as Enviro 400s are it's nice to see some old Volvo's sort of close to London
E400s will come onto the 84, but the WVLs are actually part of the allocation too.

Odd e200 seating normally it’s 2 seats behind the driver cab only?
