hello friend, nice car! im going to buy a kit from this tamiya tt02! Do you think it's interesting that I consider buying the upgrade kit from yeah racing for this car? Yeah Racing Red Aluminum Conversion Kit for Tamiya TT02 #CK-TT02RD
I’m waiting for mine. It’s gonna end up here right about the time I finish my base TT02 419 suspension conversion that ended up costing 3x the kit price.
No idea what Tamiya was smoking when they decided to make this thing. This still has the flawed steering from the stock TT02 and the cheap chassis. And plastic shocks on such an expensive model? I mean, I do like Tamiya plastic shocks for low and mid grade RCs, but at above 200€ I start expecting their aluminium shocks. The TA08 is cheaper, has more features and is better build overall; whats the point of the SRX?! Cant believe they replaced the TB series with this...
I am planning to build one and have lots of various shims to help with removing the slop but I think this chassis needs more than just shims . Maybe some strategic dabs of Maybe glue or thick grease to hold bearings and bushings in place.
I would not have been able to put this together without you. I can’t tell you how useful this was.
Also next time… can you roll it so that we can hear the sound it makes rolling?
@@nothankyou8209 I uploaded shorts.

ㅎㅎ 감사합니다!
まじで、分かりやすくて丁寧な解説動画ですね!有難う😊
I like the idea of this car but I don’t think it can get to the same gear ratios as the TA08 for racing due to its higher FDR
What happened to the steering rack lol they didnt use the sr ones
Perhaps it can be upgraded to the tt02 sr long tie rod version?
No differential at front axle? Cornering OK?
Looks weird, but most 4wd onroad rc car use front solid axle.

Are you worried about all the slack movement in the bearings, e.g. diff?
I'm just trying to show the gaps of the parts :-)
@@gilded_funs That's what I mean, are you concerned about that?
@@kaotictube No worry or concern, just show, because this is review. Even with these wobbles, type-s series show pretty good driving :-)

Is it just me or does tamiya products look real cheap, chunk and heavy?
