How-to Sew: Invisible Zipper with Brittany J Jones

  • In this video, Brittany shows how to sew an invisible zipper using two methods: facing on top and facing underneath. You will need a zipper foot for your sewing machine. If you have an invisible zipper foot, it will make the processes easier, but using either invisible or standard will work. Includes instructions on how to shorten a zipper.

    🎉So glad I found this video. I’m working on Simplicity S9705. It calls for an invisible zipper. Read instructions a couple of times and put it down to ponder the process 😅. Now after viewing, I see my thoughts process was correct. Thank you Brittini!

    I find it very helpful to press the coils open somewhat on a lower heat setting to expose the “ditch” that the needle travels in, too.
