- 7 years later...I finally board the Carnival Vista in Port Canaveral FL and start my 5 day exotic Eastern Caribbean cruise in November 2023.

I sailed the vista back in April of 2017. Great ship. One of my favorites. Can’t wait to try the jubilee or celebration.

You have a voice that is so smooth and mellow and when I hear it it makes me think of cruising even when you are talking about cameras . First time watching your videos, but the reference you made that you never watched the safety video I think that was it playing when you were showing the room. You watch the safety video on your stateroom tv. Lol. Nice video.

Doing research of carnival vista dry dock of 2024 ( no info / but I know be getting the blue bow paint like other Carnival ships already have - after there dry docks )

I really enjoy the vista class ships. Been on all of them. I was on the vista in April/May of this year when she was cruising out of Galveston. She’s a nice ship but definitely in need of a refresh.

I really enjoyed our vlog-style review of the ship. We will be going on this ship soon. I love to watch video of the ships we are about to go on before we go. I noticed you mentioned the rocking, we went on Sunshine Jan 23 and man was it rocking lol. One night, I was even a little worried but we made it through.

When my sister and I first went to Amber Cove, it had only just opened. No pool, no beach, just shopping. Same with Costa Maya. There were only 2 stores. A souvenir shop and an International Diamonds. All the rest were still being built

Joe, watching this video I realized how much has changed since you cruised last! So glad you and your family took a cruise. We haven't sailed on Carnival Vista however we have sailed your itinerary twice (Carnival Sunshine and then Carnival Freedom). You can see your son is loving cruising!

My nephew took his first cruise in 2014 when he was 3 and a half for my wife and sister-in-law’s friend’s wedding. My wife and I are taking our son Colton on his first cruise in November of next year! Colton is currently 7 but will be 8 at the time of cruising!
It was a little different dynamic, but such a joy to watch him take it in. He had seen my old videos and wanted to go for a long time! Hope you enjoy taking Colton!

what kind of camera are you using to video? Were taking this same cruise soon.. doing the Raddison hotel the day prior as well
