I was stationed with the 9th Ord Bn in Siegelsbach, Germany in 1959. My best buddy had exactly this same radio and we both enjoyed it. Excellent quality and unmatched sound!! The guys would always say "Let's hear the Grundig grunt!". Thank you for this . . . . .
@@PhrankTube Cool! IMHO, the West German radios of the late 50’s and 60’s have superior tuning and sound quality as well as great overall build quality.
