I do mine exactly like you say and wear one box of nails for several weeks. The only problem I have is getting tired of the same color. Great video!
Your tip on not cutting the original nail short works like a charm! I grew my nails out then applied the press ons and it stayed on for over two weeks. It probably would have stayed longer but I was bored and decided to peel them off myself. Thanks for the great tip!
I'm new to nails and I say I use a tooth brush to clean them . Imagine all your food cooked with dirty nails . Don't believe me . Look after you take them off . Nails are stained . Gross to think eating out .
I found a way to wear Impress nails without them falling off. I use a base coat on my own nails first. After removing the sticker from the Impress nail, I apply a solid glue. To finish, apply a lamp for 3 minutes. The result is incredible! The nails are so strong that you can peel a tangerine without the nail falling.
1. Soften cuticles 2. Push back cuticles 3. File and smooth to shape 4. Find size and organize by right and left hand 5. Use alcohol wipes and check for residue 6. Put on nail with even pressure and wipe next nail with alcohol 7. As needed, file down on nail

Tabs that come on the press on never ever work for me. They just don't stick secure. I've tried applying a thin layer of brush on nail glue before applying the tabs,that does not work. I just peel off the tabs and use nail glue. They last 3 weeks this way
Oh my gosh you are wonderful thank you so much for doing this so I'm 42 I felt just like you i was like i had those when i was a kid and even in my early teens and those m************ would fly off if the wind blew the wrong way lol so what's funny is I'm like the cobbler's kid i run a nail salon and nobody ever has time to do my nails and i have a funeral to go to so I'm on my way to go pick up some press on nails lol.
I used the peel and stick they lasted 2 hours. I have tried the glue on used 3 different types of glue they start popping off within 4 hours, have not had my hands in dish water, have not used any cleaning supplies etc, I am about to try super glue or just give up I use the short length.
I brought impress nails before but throw them away because they didn’t even last two minutes being on fingernails before they starting coming off so iam buying some nail glue and glueing that way I know they will stay because the glue they put on them isn’t enough glue to make them last especially three to four weeks 😮😊
These nails are really cute, in fact I have on kiss press on nails now. These are great tips, but in reality, don’t expect this kind to last longer than a week. They aren’t meant to last longer than that anyway. Still a great product and vid and I love the kiss brand.
I wish someone would share their sizes in one of these tutorials! I know it’s gonna be different for everyone but personally I think it would help as a starting point at least. Oh and another tip per the instructions ; Start with the pinky, alternating hands and work your way over to do the thumbs last. It really does make it easier!

Hey Amanda, the things that make a difference for me is not using the alcohol wipe they provide and using a lot of my own, ensuring my own nails are the same length as the press-on and making sure I never submerge my nails in water (i.e. baths, dishes, etc...). However, I know some people just have nail shapes that don't work well with the press-ons. I hope this helps :)
I have tried press on nails twice in past they never last a full day. I stopped using them back in 2021. I saw on Tik Tok that they have been improved. So I wanted to try them again. I got the impress press on nails in the color set sunny daze. They came with solid yellow nails, gold glitter nails and some that have different styles of pineapples on the nails. I got the set for a little less than $8 at Walmart. I also heard that if you wanted to make them last longer you could add nail glue with it. So I bought some kiss powerflex max speed nail glue also from walmart for $1.98. I am hoping they last more than a day because the nail set is super cute. One of my friends told me to add nail glue with it and they will last two weeks. Someone people said they can get them to last 3 weeks or more. So I hope they will for me.
i wouldn't recommend this, tips are shaped a certain way and do not extend to the nail bed. if you have access to buy acrylic powder, just buy tips as well. why complicate the matter?

It has to do with using your thumb to help apply the nails. If you apply the thumb first and continuously use it to apply the other nails, it doesn't have time to stay correctly always being messed with. It says not to use water for an hour post application, but I try not to do too much period for that time. It might be better to apply them before bed to allowing curing.
I had those ones! But the stickies on the u see side of the nail caught everything I touched 😭😭. They just started getting gunked and I took them off. My fav ones in that set were the marble and sparkle ones. The marbled ones were super soft and started to bend. The sparkle ones were a bit stronger and held up. I wish the stickies weren’t as far up so I could wear them more comfortably 🥲
It doesn’t ruin your natural nail if you remove them properly. You can either soak in hot water and soap, then gently work them with the stick included or you can soak in acetone.
This are awesome love it🙂 also notice you have a rubber silicone band on I also have one due to this awful pandemic I don’t wear my actual wedding ring due to all sanitizer!😭

Bullshit. These nails are really soft. The gray ones started bending Uber ended right away after putting them on and look terrible I took them out and went to garbage.
Right? I don’t know why anyone would suggest these stick ons. They don’t work and they feel horrible on. Like spongy nail feeling because they don’t adhere right to nail. The sticker in between won’t allow them to feel secure. Just ridiculous. Use them only if you want them on for short one-two days

I ride horses and have to wash my hands a lot and do a lot of heavy farm work and they lasted about a week for me because i used nail glue instead of just sticking them on and i used the exact set in this video

It really depends on your personal chemical make up whether or not they stick without glue.
Nails don't breathe but yes, it's best to let them rest from time to time as you suggested. Those are really pretty.

There’s multiples nails in one pack. You can put the mail onto the real mail to see which one fits the best.
The package will say if they are long, medium or short. There’s a huge variety on Amazon as well.

I have pretty weak/ easily damaged nails. I use non acetone remover and soak them for a while before trying to pull the nails off!

I left the nails on for 3 weeks and I had green bacteria on them. Used tea tree oil to kill the bacteria. Never again
