The prophecy in Revelation 9:18 about a third of mankind dying is interpreted as a future, global event involving specific judgments from God. The book of Revelation happened to the people John gave the letters to. Why would John warn those 7 churches of things that would soon take place, if the events weren’t going to happen for two thousand years. Christians don’t use logic
