Am really glad Johnny Jett is still part of Barnwood Builders. Wouldn't be the same without him. I love all you guys and watching you reclaim and preserve part of our heritage. Keep up the good work! Paula
I sincerely wish there were more people who respected the hard work and excellent work done by our former generations...not every old building is in need of being torn down...
I truly enjoyed each of the shows I watched, and each of the members of the show. GOD bless each of you. This show should always be on the network, to teach each of us.
Just saw them today at the Mount Pleasant, Michigan home show. Mark told us he was out in the car smoking a cigarette. So, Johnny Jett isn't dead. They are down to earth group of people that work together and enjoy each other's company. Great People and Great show!
I sincerely wish there were more people who respected the work and excellent work of our former generations... I live in a small town with agriculture background...by this currant establishment chooses to demolish the aged buildings that are part of it's history instead of being proud of it's history... How very sad. Yes I do realize that some structures were allowed to go to there demise and are no longer an asset...and should be raze, but not all old buildings fall in that category...and even those could have lumber in them worth saving as shown on Barnwood Builders. Hurray for men like Barnwood Builders that save, respect, and honor what was built with amazing effort and true grit !&
Loved watching the skill these fellows possess. Johnny and Sherman were my 2 favorite, but they all had a vast knowledge of the way things were done in by gone years!
Really appreciate the time and effort that you put into the work and the job you do teach the kids and most importantly you care about the history of the loghomes and you all have a good life and God bless you and your family and friends too
They cut the show the same time my husband died. It was his favorite show. Some network needs to pick the show up, or redesign it to show more of the entire cabin rebuilding proceess. I miss these guys!
While the Company is headquartered in WV, Johnny actually lives a bit farther west in Fleming County, KY, He maintained a public water system for over 25 years.
I love this show. I have watched all of them twice and am thinking about starting them again. I wish there were more of them. I feel like. I actually know all the crew of hillbillies personally. You are a blessing keep it up. More showed please.
What a tedious, repetitive video! How many times do we have to hear "Beloved Johnny Jett"? And the incorrectly used video special effect of scratches and spots designed to make a video look old. That's fine for something 80 years old, but is completely in appropriate for a recent video. Please understand: I'm not criticizing Johnny Jett or Barnwood Builders. But the way the story was told/retold in this video is pretty bad.

If you’re going to have a story on someone, you need to get your facts straight!
Johnny lives in Kentucky!
I love Johnny Jett! He is a Godly man who does not shrink from professing his enduring faith.
What I want to know is what happened to Tim Rose?
It was Tim Rose, not Jim Rose.

Aren't some of these structures you work with built by enslaved people and yet you make no mention of it and instead glorify so called pioneer spirit?
No evidence of that being true
Give us all a freakin’ break!
It's a deep thought
Those smaller home were not where the rich lived. Only rich had slaves and lived in bigger fancy homes.
