I really loved this buses... their noise... the engine.. the air brakes... We use to run to the first floor trying to get the front seats... just to make noise with the shoes on the 1st floor ground just to annoy the driver... and to get the better view.. Thanks again for reminding me those childwood days...
I am astonished to see the half-cab single deckers STILL in use in 1986!! In the UK, the last one of these was phased out in the early 1950's. But anyway - its a testament to the build quality, reliability and maintenance.

Yes, this was before they heavily revamped the fleet. Some of these were probably from the 50s, but no electronics, easy to work on...
