Well, I saw the English dub of this episode today. Won't spoil anything about the translation, but I will say the following: First, I said before that I think Fran's English voice sounds too old. I'm definitely standing by it now. Fran's supposed to be twelve, yet she sounds more like she's 16 or 17. I would have expected her to have the voice of a 12 year old. Then again, she's a Black Cat, not human, so maybe that explains the difference? Second, her reaction to the meat patties - thought it would be a bit more animated. Speaking in a higher voice to express her desire to taste one of them. Finally, what she said after eating her first bowl of curry - I like what I posted before - This is the food of the gods - more than what was said in the episode. It's akin to how I like what Tsunade said to Orochimaru before delivering that final punch during the three-way Sannin battle in the English dub vs. the original Japanese. "Give my regards to hell!" vs. "Now for the final blow" or something along that line. One thing for certain - by the end of this episode, she's a curry fanatic. Just like Naruto's a ramen fanatic.

Unfortunetly for me it is only but a small piece and after exhausting all the options and as tiring as it might be to you sir/madam, I would be most gratefull if I could be informed of the name of this piece. Pity in Japanese cuisine there is really only 3 kinds of curry. Imagine if Fran was introduced to the fact that there is multiple kinds each of Thai curry, Malay curry, Burmese curry, Indian curry, African curry....There are so many varieties of curry it's actually a little frightening.

Dubs are universally shit and should be banned. If you can't read subtitles fast enough you don't deserve to enjoy shows.
