Not sure if your aware but NordVPN was hacked a few months ago and loads of information that passed through the data centre was stolen, NordVPN tried to cover it up, but it back fired on them.
Simon I absolutely adore all of your shows and biography is one of my favorites and William Wallace always been fascinating to me even before Mel Gibson played Him on the big screen...
I would like to say that I can color with many of your other guest comments that you don't get near enough credit for what you do I turned everyone I know that loves history geography top tenz
As well as other of your multiple formats of information my favorite at this point being BUSINESS BLAZE

Thank you :). Appreciate it, and thanks for subbing to Business Blaze :) :)
Two suggestions for future videos: Augustus Caesar and Scipio Africanus.
Food for thought... Great channel!
Being Scottish, it is pretty amazing that Wallace is our national hero/freedom fighter and like you said, not much is actually factually known about him. I do know just before his execution he did try to do a deal with Edward, but I guess it was 'too little too late' kinda patter...
Never a traitor to Scotland, but many of the Scottish elite certainly fit that category.
Independence is coming
Get Scoxit Done then! We'll take the moderate and educated Scot's that voted to stay and you lot can stay behind your wall.
@@InimitaPaul *your.
Daniel FitzEdward Thanks.
Would you become a republic then? Or keep a monarchy?
@@InimitaPaul Not what's going to be happening though, you're going to get the sectarian anti-catholic bigots and the educated liberals are the ones saying they want to move North. And it isn't "stay", on Scottish indy Britain and the UK as states will cease to exist. You'll need to come up with a new name for England and Wales, since, let's face it, Norn is probably going soon too
@Biographics
Let's not forget , Wallace not only knew French and Latin but Gaelic(Scottish Gaelic) as well
Even in Age of Empires, William Wallace is pretty OP.
Good video
Was he also from Australia??
Lol jk
Mr.Denton yeah, I believe he was born in New York, and then went to the land down under as a young child. But I’m not sure if his family was originally Aussies or not.🤔 I’m too lazy to look it up right now.
@@mangot589 I hate to think you are that stupid but how hard is it to google William Wallace or go to a library and read Scottish history. You should try you may learn something.
@@eoinociarain7986 Are you Woooshing or are you joking?
Why didn't they teach history like this when I was in school? I really like your content! Thanks so much!
Leave it to Scottland to have a hero with a totally ordinary sounding name...
Bill Wallace.
Bill Wallace... the god slaying, dragon eating, ass licking shattering star of Scotland.
Like Bill "Superfoot" Wallace?
Old Billy sheep shagger wallace
Another great video Mr Whistler! I can’t get enough of them. Very interesting!! Us Brits definitely have some of or even the best history in… well… history!!
Thank you Simon I love your videos
Could you think about doing a Lithuanian figure.
Anyone know the song that was being played at the end of the video …amazing content love your channel
This video was made possible by all relevant sponsors and the impending 2nd Scottish Referendum in 2020.... ; )
*cue blue face paint, kilts, flags and the tartan arm*
I don't think even a Welsh hero could split England and Scotland apart now
@@ChloeClements34 but the majority didn't vote SNP though. That's not how first past the post works
@@ChloeClements34 No you misunderstand. You say that the people of Scotland want a referendum, but the percentage that voted SNP is less than 50%. Unlike General Elections, Independence referendums are not FPTP. This means less than 50% of Scottish people want another referendum. And that's assuming that everyone who voted SNP voted for them because they wanted a second referendum. Which is unlikely.
Nicola Sturgeon knows she isn't getting a referendum anytime soon, but pushing that angle is the best way for her to secure votes. If she got one right now it's likely it would fail anyway.
@Fhjthnl Lol Iuyo The fact that the Scottish need permission to leave a union says a lot about said union.
NinjaCell yes they did 55% of Scottish voters voted for them
"The good Lord says he can get me out of this, but he's pretty sure you're fooked"
Man, I love William Wallace. He was great in Braveheart.
Like the videos ..mybonly suggestion, slow down a bit, in the areas that require more thought ..
Need a biographics on Subodai pls the most successful general in history! Conqueror of Russia, China, Hungary, Central Asia, and every army for all corners of the world!
Think Wolfe Tone, the Protestant father of Irish Republicanism would be brilliant for this
Dude.. you are doing extremely well with all ur work. Keep it up.
Thanks, will do :)
