Definitely bouquet, its gorgeous and has so many different parts. Would be wonderful for some sci fi terrain mocs. I can see the pieces being used to expand on reefs in the new avatar sets.
LEGO really hit the jackpot when it came to getting non LEGO fans to get into LEGO with this line. It's exactly how they got me. The botanical sets look great and aren't out of place in the home unlike themed builds and modular builds. I bought my 1st LEGO set a little over a year ago, and that was the bonsai tree. It's not a difficult build, but it's not so small that you're done too quickly. They're the perfect size and difficult for a 1st time builder, and once you're done you have a great piece that can easily be displayed in the home at the end of it. A year later, I've spent over £1000 on LEGO alone and they're about to get more from me!
i would NOT reccommend the bonzai tree for beginners the step where you need to build the leaves unironically takes longer than every other step combined it feels like you're stuck in purgatory, and it singlehandedly made me dread whenever i had to build a tree of some kind in a set
I purchased last autumn for the first time LEGO from the Botanicals theme and to be honest I love them! I am the worst person ever that can keep flowers or plants alive and this is a perfect alternative. I think those new sets are cool anyway, you can mix it with other sets to make your own, unique bouquet and I think that's really cool.
Personally, I absolutely LOVE the vibrant splash of color from the wildflower bouquet! The dried flower centrepiece looks a little muted and desaturated for my own tastes. I can definitely see how the wildflowers might be a little too punchy for some, but I'm really digging it.
Actually my grandma is very very hyped for this set😂 I got her into lego with the tulips bc they are her favourite type of flower. First she was like that lego is just a toy for children but then she got very exited when she actually had build it. She is 85 so I guess it’s never to late to play🥰
I have been buying my mom Lego Botanical sets for Christmas for a while, and even though she's not a Lego person she _is_ a flower person and really loves having them out on display along with her silk and real flowers. Personally, I really like the bouquet, it looks very much like a wildflower bouquet you'd go out and pick in a field.
I love these botanical sets. They're so relaxing to assemble and are perfect for someone who has trouble keeping plants alive, is allergic to flowers, or has pets. I did the Orchids, Bonsai, Succulents, and Bird of Paradise last year. They're displayed around my room. My mother would have loved these sets.
I just want to say, your reviews are the best out there. Other LEGO TH-camrs have bad shots, and don’t always cover the entire set, just the negatives. You cover all the bases, and I love your videos
I absolutely love the dried flower centerpiece set; I have always loved the earthy colors of Lego and in real life too so a set focusing on them is just perfect to me.
Lego made such a great choice with the botanical collection. I hade never purchased any Lego in my life, and now I have bought 2. The orchid for myself, and the bouquet (the old one) for my parents. And we are all in love with them!
I received one of the other bouquet sets for my birthday the other week, having never seen the range before. I absolutely loved it! I am an ecologist, so it is generally interesting as an idea, and I loved the inventive use of pieces (thinking of pterosaur wings as leaves) and the little details in the instructions. I can't wait for the next one.
I love your part breakdowns on these botanical sets. The bonsai is what got me purchasing Lego again after a 10 year hiatus. I’ve collected all the botanical collection sets now including Groot! But the parts usage is so much fun in all of them
Centrepiece, although I'm depressed and should choose a colorful bouquet😉 Centrepiece looks incredibly convincing and realistic. I admire the designer who went very faaaaar beyond the patterns known from other Lego series.
i like making new absurdly colourful flowers and plants from the brightly coloured parts in these sets, so re-using them is not an issue for me. i’ll definitely be picking these up when i’m back in my lego phase again
Since I personally already own the first Flower Bouquet and the Orchid I will be goind for the Wild Flower Bouquet. Altho I every time I look at the Dried Flower Centerpiece I want it more and more. I really love the unique clours and really cool building technigues like the rose has. The choice of surprising pieces in these sets is absolutely faboulus! These sand green trees and big leafs, purple and pink pirate hats, dark blue original palm leafs, yellow, dark red and pink oars, the list goes on and on! Thank you for the great reviev, they are deffinelty one of the best ones I've ever seen! Keep up the good work!
Our family bought my mom the LEGO Flower Bouquet for Mother’s day and she loves it! Despite the repetition I really like the building techniques and the experience. Beautiful set and I just really like the whole theme of botanical collections. Nice review as always!
Aaah! I haven’t seen Lego Botanicals in so long! You’ve unlocked a forgotten memory! My grandfather loves both legos and flower arranging and he used to have a few of these sets when I was a kid, much older ones, of course. They were my favorite legos to play with over at his house.
I like that the wildflower set has some extra "leaves" than the other sets. I do really love buying these for my wife and she likes to display them at work. The dried centerpiece is really a neat idea! I will be picking up both.
I agree that if you stick the whole bouquet in the same jar it feels like a little bit too much. however, I think if you split it into two or three different causes you can get a nice selection without it seeming overwhelming. Honestly I'll probably pick it up later when the price drops. I have gotten the orchid, the succulents, and both this flower set and a different one made of "other" bricks.
I have first bought the Bonsai Tree botanical set and I just can't get enough of these, they're so pretty and do actually make a great gift for some of my relatives... or myself.
I'm shocked at how many new elements come in this! I remember the multiple green technic pieces for the stems being a pain... the new long green one is going to make this so much simpler and look cleaner too
I bought the bouquet set for my mom for Mother's day. She isn't a big LEGO fan such as me but she was really suprised and thankfull for my gift! Deffinetly worth it!😊
Both look amazing for display and parts. Great video as always. I actually want these sets the most for parts! Building a fairy world means looks of green pieces and flowers!
I love the bonsai tree and liked the orchids because they were easy to display whereas the sets that don't come with a vase I understand it will increase the cost but having picked up the sunflowers I understand that a strong vase is needed. As for these 2 the dried flower one appeals to me more as it is easily displayed without extra parts
Tiago, your videos manage to cover so many of my very particular questions for certain sets. On top of all that, your criticism is passionate but still very constructive. I really appreciate your channel and content!
Nailed it. I wasn't allowed Lego as a child because I was "irresponsible" (and they were right). While I love flowers, I'm highly allergic. I'd love a house filled with plants but that's not in the cards for me. Lego seems to have the solution for all occasions. It's likely I'll be utilizing these sets often. Thanks for drawing these to my attention. Glad to know they have some more!
I have the Bonsai, the Orchid, and the Bird's of Paradise at my work office, and my coworkers love how well they work to spruce up a desk Easily some of my favorite Lego sets
I will be buying both for my wife. She loves all of the botanical sets! They are spread all over the house, friends come over and always think they are real. lol
I think the Wild flower bouquet would look a lot better in a different, less narrow vase! Everything will be more spaced out, like the picture on the box.
I'm not a LEGO fan, but I was stunned by the promo image of the Bird of Paradise set. It's a brilliant idea to build these plants in vivid Lego bricks and the overall aesthetics is so eye pleasing.
Im personally hoping they do a recolor or something more colorful similar to the centerpiece! I would much rather hang something like that on the wall than have a vase of the flowers. I like the autumn theme but if it was more colorful i would put it anywhere
The use of the pirate hats, epaulets, boat oars etc. is really clever. I like that. I have to agree with the colour choices for the wildflower set. I feel the orange clashed with the rest of the cool-tone blues and purples. Switching them for a pale yellow, white or pale pink would have been better.
I’ve been getting a bunch of these sets for my grandma and she has loved every single one so far, I’m leaning more towards the Centrepiece set to get her this year, but which set do you guys think I should get her?
I think that the dried flower centerpiece is better. I agree with your thoughts 100% Meanwhile I like the flowers as well this has to be the better of the 2. Its also something different than the other sets having flowers meant to be put in vases.
As soon as I saw these on the Lego site, I bought them, I’m trying to get all of the flowers and plants because I love them all! Wish I could come up with my own but it’s so difficult, which makes these sets even more stunning in my eyes
That dried flower centrepiece looks really good, I love the use of the warmer pastel colors and the creative application of element shapes. However, I don´t know if I´d like to have it as a set, because it reminds me too much of grave decorations. 😬
Interesting that you say the flower sets a good for gifting to someone who doesn’t build Lego. I gave the orchid set to a friend who does jigsaw puzzles ( but not Lego) and grows orchids. SHE LOVED THE LEGO SET and had no trouble building it😊
i never bought legos before, but purchased the flower series and bonsai last year. Not a good keeper of real plants, so I just slap fake ones everywhere in my room. they're great, I love them. It gives something special and uniqueness compared to dried flowers or even simple plastic ones. hope they continue the series, maybe I'll be able to develop interest enough to start playing with the parts and customize then move deeper into the mainstream lego builds. thanks for the review, didnt know new ones were out!
I recently chose the Wildflower Bouquet between the two, I'd have to say the flowers give a unique pop of color that makes the room look more lively, regardless of the season unlike the Centerpiece. And though I can understand the colors being a bit much, it actually follows the pretty common tetradic color scheme, of the colder blues and purples being complimented by the yellows and oranges. So as an artist, the piece provides a lot of value as a fun thing to mess around with the composition of However, there's not much room for really "messing with the composition". All the flowers have a specific height that's dictated by the long green axels they use as stems so trying to arrange them differently just looks off. I was also afraid that the flowers were a bit too top-heavy, with the entire weight of the flowers being held up by a thin green axel. It was especially scary with the lupin. I initially wanted to store them in a shorter, more aesthetically pleasing vase, but out of fear of the pieces breaking, I switched to a taller one
I really love the Wildflowers! One comment about your display of them, though, it might be an idea to put them in a shorter vase. This would spread the bouquet out more and they wouldn't look quite as stuffed together and all on top of one another. Also, put them in one at a time, starting with the base elements (the cowslip and green leaves, then put the larger elements in individually. This will allow you to place them nicely, so they're not all on top of each other and, for example, all the orange ones are on top of each other, and the pink/purple ones together. Would be very interested to see what it looks like if you try this. :)
You didn’t really talk about it, but I have the succulent set shown at 1:31. It was the first Lego set I’d completely in a while and it was gifted to me over Christmas (partially as a joke bc I can never keep plants alive). I absolutely adored the set! It was so fun the build and looks so cool on my dresser.
Definitely buying the bouquet and the daffodils. My wife and I built the last bouquet set, the orchid and bonsai tree and have absolutely loved them. They're all very beautiful for display. I like the centerpiece but something with an autumn colour pallette would clash pretty hard with our house. But besides that it still looks like a beautiful set in it's own right
I got my girlfriend the Orchid set and she loves it, it was a fun build together because usually she isn't interested in lego, but next I'm thinking the flower bouquet bc the wildflower one looks too flashy
I just finished the wildflower bouquet and older flower bouquet. The wildflower one was so much fun to put together and I think absolutely beautiful. A little tedious in spots, but the lupine was absolutely my favorite piece there. Can’t even really tell those petals are pirate hats! The flowers bouquet on the other hand was…. It’s ok. I absolutely rolled my eyes seeing freaking pteranodon wings for leaves on the roses. A few of the flowers I really liked, the snapdragon and asters especially. I do think doing both sets back to back did get a little old, since there are quite a few repeated arrangements and it’s all fairly small pieces. Also whoever decided to make the book black paper when there are so many dark green elements?
Hmm, gotta disagree about the Wildflower color palette- I think it’s a fantastic summery mix of colors. Also, I would not want more repeats! I’m surprised that you suggested this, since you value the building experience so much. I welcome the variety! Overall though- thanks for the review!
These 2 have to be the best of the botanical collection so far. Both are conventional and in my opinion don't really sacrifice techniques for colours. These seem more versatile in display options and as you mentioned, the parts are great!
I am not that much inte Lego as an adult, but I like flowers and I like to travel a lot so real flowers are somewhat problematic to keep. These sets are perfect for me.
Buy four center kits, build them with the grandkids over the Holidays, glue them onto a picture frame. Put a family picture at LEGOLAND in the frame. TADA!
They're doing a great job at providing just enough interesting stuff, that I consistently buy multiple copies. For my parts library. I prefer the centrepiece. But they're both great. Though, I'm not too thrilled w the boat oars again. But they look great, I think i'll hang mine on the wall.
So far wasn't really interested in these Botanical sets, there's nice parts usage and some clever building techniques, but otherwise I just don't care for these. But the Dried Flower Centerpiece actually might be the first one I actually buy! Looks great, and the more muted colors help a lot.
I think all the black box sets (Architecture, Mosaic, Botanicals, and merch sets like Optimus Prime and the Hulkbuster) are sets directed at a more adult audience looking for a display piece and an experience to build. I'd call the experience of building my few (Liberty, Optimus, and the Sanctum) to be like putting together a puzzle, but unlike jig-saws, you get instructions, but that does not detract. The Sanctum is full of amusing details, like a sticker that gets put on a 2x2 plate of an x-ray of Lego Stephen's hand to storeroom of the Time Stone and the book of Cagliostro, the mechanism of the portal doorway, and the monster sticking out through a portal on the side of the building. But the prize IMO is Optimus Prime, a Lego construction, but they worked out how to make him able to transform. Hasbro was not able to do that with Kre-O.

I am mostly looking at the new/ recolered pieces so...

I totally agree!
I really want to get the center piece
same. My kids love LEGO, but are growing out of the kid sets. They love building and flower arrangements. Great next step.

Aw, I love this!
That's why LEGO says "For Years up from # to 99"
@@HunteR3453 They have actually stopped putting 99 in favor of the +, so even centenarians can play along now.
I popped the tulips and the daffodils in with this set, and they sit a little lower and look really nice.
gonna be honest, LEGO absolutely never fails in terms of the botanical sets.
Thats good because they fail with 80-90% of the rest, especially when we talk about value for money
And they didn't even stole the design from rejected Ideas, this time!
@@Beregorn88 LOL
The Botanicals got me back to lego as an adult. It's nice to have something to display that fits into normal non-fandom decor.
I love realistic sets like this where you can’t even tell it’s LEGO… so many crazy recolors as always!

It never ceases to amaze me how efficiently and thoroughly you analyze these sets. The review aspect is just a cherry on top.
As an AFOL, I absolutely love the Botanical line and I particularly love the explosion of color of the bouquet. It is so pretty and nice to display.
Definitely buying both for my wife! I bought her a botanical garden set that she has in her office and she loved it!
I received one of the other bouquet sets for my birthday the other week, having never seen the range before. I absolutely loved it! Dried flower set reminds me of a Thanksgiving centerpiece. Looking forward to both sets
They are both great looking. I like all of the lego plants so far. All of them look amazing.
Our family bought my mom the LEGO Flower Bouquet for Mother’s day and she loves it! Despite the repetition I really like the building techniques and the experience. Beautiful set and I just really like the whole theme of botanical collections. Nice review as always!
Wildflowers are supposed to be colorful and mildly chaotic. The point is that they are wild, not homogenous.
Aaah! I haven’t seen Lego Botanicals in so long! You’ve unlocked a forgotten memory! My grandfather loves both legos and flower arranging and he used to have a few of these sets when I was a kid, much older ones, of course. They were my favorite legos to play with over at his house.

I'm shocked at how many new elements come in this! I remember the multiple green technic pieces for the stems being a pain... the new long green one is going to make this so much simpler and look cleaner too
Same, i thought there wouldn't be many but there was loads !
Yeah, it’s becoming a thing I guess! The succulents last year were also great in that regard
I love the original bouquet but can't deny how the new one looks more organic! Love how the pieces are more rounded and less "bricky"
The angled stud with bar is now green too! Yet another color for that pretty useful part
I love the Dried Flower set. My house features an autumn theme year-round and the centerpiece would fit right in. I might have to get one.
I bought the bouquet set for my mom for Mother's day. She isn't a big LEGO fan such as me but she was really suprised and thankfull for my gift! Deffinetly worth it!😊
The recolored elements in the dried flower bouquet are getting me so excited!
personally i like the centerpiece way better. i like the toned down colorway while bouquet looks a bit too plastic-ish for me.
I saw one of the botanical sets on display in a vase at my 70 year old mother in law's house, so definitely reaching a new audience!!
Both look amazing for display and parts. Great video as always. I actually want these sets the most for parts! Building a fairy world means looks of green pieces and flowers!

I think the idea of a set that you can build with 2 people is very fun.
I like the botanicals in general, but they're way better when they include a pot
Love how there are so many recolours
Hmm, gotta disagree about the Wildflower color palette- I think it’s a fantastic summery mix of colors. Also, I would not want more repeats! I’m surprised that you suggested this, since you value the building experience so much. I welcome the variety! Overall though- thanks for the review!
I have never seen these. Not a lego person but a flower person. Im going to check them out. Thank you!
I definitely prefer the Dried Flower Centerpiece, as it has more useful earth-toned colors!
These 2 have to be the best of the botanical collection so far. Both are conventional and in my opinion don't really sacrifice techniques for colours. These seem more versatile in display options and as you mentioned, the parts are great!
Wildflowers are collected mainly because they reflect nature and don't look curated. I think LEGO was spot on.
The centrepiece looks so much better here than on their promo pics
Both look very nice. May be more inclined to get the Boquet, but the Dried Flower one also has pieces of interest.
I hope the sunflower looking thing's petals don't easily get bent out of place like the initial sunflower set
Unfortunately they do..
I am not that much inte Lego as an adult, but I like flowers and I like to travel a lot so real flowers are somewhat problematic to keep. These sets are perfect for me.
I definitely like the Lego flower sets.
Florists will definitely be interested in checking these out.
Buy four center kits, build them with the grandkids over the Holidays, glue them onto a picture frame. Put a family picture at LEGOLAND in the frame. TADA!
These look gorgeous!
Now I want to see MOCs made with the bouquet colored pieces.
Blooming marvellous!!
They're doing a great job at providing just enough interesting stuff, that I consistently buy multiple copies. For my parts library. I prefer the centrepiece. But they're both great. Though, I'm not too thrilled w the boat oars again. But they look great, I think i'll hang mine on the wall.
I'd love to buy these to sort the pieces!
