Finally someone showed me some basic stuff I need to know about using this program. Now I would like to know how to choose a part of a video and make it in slow motion and re-insert it right after the original speed section. Anyone know where I can find that tutorial? Thank you Saif.
How do you make the video shorter? I have a 2 hour video and want to use 30 seconds of it. But when doing the cutting and trimming, while exporting the video, the video is still 2 hours long, with all black footage, except the 30 seconds that I want. Edit: I just had to move the 30 seconds to the beginning of the timeline >_< If there is an easier way rather than dragging it all the way to the front, please let me know.
thanks. editor has terrible visual interface, I kept clicking the wrong scissors, and didn't get why it wasn't working, but you explanation and pointing out of razor button made me notice the other scissors - I doubt I would have figured this out on my own, cause who the h does a razor icon
at 06:20 the option you clicked on allowed you to type in were you wanted to set the cursor. When I click on that button you use to set the cursor, I get an option to set a marked with different color options. How did you get the feature you.?
Helpful video.but I want to know who to drag elements on blow timeline.. because it's helpful to edit the video.its very annoying when all elements not on blow on timeline.any help will be appreciated.😁
Please help!!! I feel like I'm losing my mind ... I want to cut my video. I have selected the video (it has a green square around it) but still the 'razor' is greyed out & the 'begin work area' & 'set end of work area' options don't work.
@@vsdceditsbysaif4297 Same problem-I select the section to cut (first half of vid) but when I hit cut it cuts all. I have watched many videos trying to figure this out and not happy.
make sure that you're in editor, top menu, then you will see razor button. and next to it are scissors that you need, the other scissors are like cut tool in word or excell, it doesn't do what you expect it to do

Hey do you know how to fix it if everytime i split the video and when i play it the part where i split it gets skipped 3 - 5 seconds?
its because of lagging, to avoide it reduce the resolution to 420 px for preview

I did not get your question. If you want to move elements to lower layer, then select all elements and drag down or use green arrow on top.

Every single time I delete a section of a video and export, the final video still plays cut part but it is just blacked out. Any suggestions?
My be you left blank space after deleting the part.

because you selected whole video. once you make a cut, make sure you selected one part to delete only.
