One thing that I also noticed is how some people reply on here that some of the verses are vague and not clear so people interpret it to whatever is true now.. but that is what makes it so true.. Such example is the verse that says God can create us to the "finger tips" and not finger prints. This makes it understandable for both us, and people 1400 years ago.. What's fascinating is you wouldn't find math, physics and scientifical proofs like modern science because not everyone can understand it. Classical tafsirs such as ibn kafir describe the planets motion as a "spin" or "whirl." Furthermore, even if we ignore the previous error, the Hindus discovered heliocentrism and the sun's orbit around the centre of the galaxy first. Hindu sage yajnavalkya wrote about this over 1000 years before the Qur'an.

Which ignores to mention the tafsirs that explain the verses, ignores to mention pre-Islamic cosmologies and scientific ideas that were popular, ignores to mention myths that the Quran uses and ignores to mention that basically no actual scientists or historians agree with this! Sadly, Muslims contribute less than 1% to the scientific research on Earth (even though they are ~25% of the population) and have not contributed to any modern scientific theories. Yet, they want to show that the science of the kuffaar confirms their outdated and incorrect text by re-interpreting the texts and science.

Please know that I am very grateful for the Prophets (of which I am not of course) their works their Journey and respect their Suffering. And the Same for the Holy Books, as the inspired Word of God. All of these points can easily be shown to be either things that were already known and/or that they are incorrect, if you take the time to study a bit of science and history. These videos never mention any such facts of course. They also never mention the best Islamic scholars in the tafsirs who either contradict or never mention any of these interpretations, yet, whenever we bring forth problematic verses from the Quran, Muslims always say that we need to read the tafsirs to understand them. There are millions of scientists in the world (mostly in non-Islamic countries). How many of these scientists have converted to Islam because of the scientific arguments? The Quran borrows from local, man-made creation myths, legends and scientific ideas of the time. Take Q21:30 for example which Muslims claim talks about the Big Bang. This was a common myth from Egypt (Ra separated the heaven and Earth) to Iran (Enlil separated them) - Arabia just happens to be in the middle! If you read the Sumerian creation story you'll see it is found in 21:30: “Enlil, lord Nunamnir, the En, his utterance cannot be countered, separated Heaven from Earth, separated Earth from Heaven.” - Krebernik 1998, p. 321, n. 805. This myth and the verse are of course wrong because the Earth did not exist at the time of creation (not for another ~9 billion years) and you cannot separate the Earth from the havens as it is part of the heavens (sky/universe). The classical tafsirs scholars understood the verses exactly as the myth implying that the Earth existed but it did not rain on it until it was separated. Then in 2:29 Allah gives the wrong order of formation, finishing the Earth before working on the heavens, which contradicts the Big Bang. No cosmologist will ever explain the Big Bang in such a way. Muslims today are forced to re-interpret the Quran and the science to make them agree, but if this verse was not in the Quran and I showed it to you, you would have no issue saying that it's a scientifically incorrect ancient myth.

One thing that I also noticed is how some people reply on here that some of the verses are vague and not clear so people interpret it to whatever is true now.. but that is what makes it so true.. Such example is the verse that says God can create us to the "finger tips" and not finger prints. This makes it understandable for both us, and people 1400 years ago.. What's fascinating is you wouldn't find math, physics and scientifical proofs like modern science because not everyone can understand it. I got shudder when he mentioned the fingerprint. I remember reading and thinking okay until top of the finger but when he explained the fingerprint part, I got the goosebumps. Furthermore, even if we ignore the previous error, the Hindus discovered heliocentrism and the sun's orbit around the centre of the galaxy first. Hindu sage yajnavalkya wrote about this over 1000 years before the Qur'an.

Which ignores to mention the tafsirs that explain the verses, ignores to mention pre-Islamic cosmologies and scientific ideas that were popular, ignores to mention myths that the Quran uses and ignores to mention that basically no actual scientists or historians agree with this! Sadly, Muslims contribute less than 1% to the scientific research on Earth (even though they are ~25% of the population) and have not contributed to any modern scientific theories. All of these points can easily be shown to be either things that were already known and/or that they are incorrect, if you take the time to study a bit of science and history. These videos never mention any such facts of course. They also never mention the best Islamic scholars in the tafsirs who either contradict or never mention any of these interpretations, yet, whenever we bring forth problematic verses from the Quran, Muslims always say that we need to read the tafsirs to understand them. See any bias?
There are millions of scientists in the world (mostly in non-Islamic countries). How many of these scientists have converted to Islam because of the scientific arguments? The "science in the Quran" argument is not convincing to highly educated people but unfortunately, people who have not studied much (or any) science (or history) do fall for it occasionally.

The Quran borrows from local, man-made creation myths, legends and scientific ideas of the time. Take Q21:30 for example which Muslims claim talks about the Big Bang. This was a common myth from Egypt (Ra separated the heaven and Earth) to Iran (Enlil separated them) - Arabia just happens to be in the middle! If you read the Sumerian creation story you'll see it is found in 21:30:
“Enlil, lord Nunamnir, the En, his utterance cannot be countered, separated Heaven from Earth, separated Earth from Heaven.” - Krebernik 1998, p. 321, n. 805.
This myth and the verse are of course wrong because the Earth did not exist at the time of creation (not for another ~9 billion years) and you cannot separate the Earth from the havens as it is part of the heavens (sky/universe). The classical tafsirs scholars understood the verses exactly as the myth implying that the Earth existed but it did not rain on it until it was separated. Then in 2:29 Allah gives the wrong order of formation, finishing the Earth before working on the heavens, which contradicts the Big Bang. No cosmologist will ever explain the Big Bang in such a way. Muslims today are forced to re-interpret the Quran and the science to make them agree, but if this verse was not in the Quran and I showed it to you, you would have no issue saying that it's a scientifically incorrect ancient myth.
