Uncle, what are your thoughts on worm castings? Good? Bad? It wasn't mentioned in the lecture.

Some of my leafs started turning yellow I’m wondering if maybe the fish 1 oz is a little too strong ?

What organic sugar can I use per gallon ? Like sugar cane

So if organic fertilizers take 4-6 weeks to breakdown an be ready for the plant to use. Shouldn’t we apply the fertilizer in late January so it will be ready for spring. and apply some more in April so it will be available summer?
    I’m using espoma fruit fertilizer.

January soil temperatures are so cold that the micro organisms are not active. Your fertilizer is often wasted as it is washed away by the winter rains. You can use a nitrate based nitrogen fertilizer (Calcium nitrate or Nitro King) on lawns because it doesn't need to be broken down by soil micro organisms.

So I’m watching this at 4 am of the morning n need to go to sleep. My question is. Idk if you mention in the video but should I just add the fertilizer in January to allow it to break down and be ready for the plants by feb? Or add in December ?

That's what I do. I have some trees that bloom early. Organic fertilizer requires a month to begin working. Find a fertilizer that has mycorrhiza fungi in it. That's the fungus that breaks down the fertilizer so the plants can intake the nutrients.

Why didn't you talk about boron?

The problem with fertilizers, as Elaine Ingham has repeatedly and conclusively demonstrated, is that they promote microorganisms that simply use the available minerals for themselves, and simultaneously suppress microorganisms which would otherwise symbiotically work to break down minerals from the soil itself to provide plants with them in return for sugar and/or protection. This completely distorts the ecology of the soil microbiome and has severely detrimental effects long-term; and that's on top of fertilizers washing out more easily and polluting the environment.
You can perhaps use it for potted plants in very limited amounts, but I'd never put it in garden or farming soil, that's for sure.

also worms prefer neutral pH, and have difficulty to tolerate acidic soil. synth fertilizers to be avoided at all costs

Gary, i noticed the leaves turned yellow and become chlorotic after spraying with sugar and fish/kelp emulsion in the evening. any idea why they turned yellow?

How long after spraying did you notice the symptoms and were they yellow before you did the spray? -KC

@@GarysBestGardening about a week later when i notice some of the leaves turned yellow exposing the green veins even on some of the less PH sensitive plants like atemoya and sugar apple. Could it be chlorosis from the sun/heat stress? I did spray in the evening.

@@zatara5299 did you ever figured out what it was ? At first I used kelp only but after mixing fish and molasses I too started seeing some leafs turn a little yellow .
